“I absolutely adore this spot. I've lived in WA since 2022 and this is only the 2nd time I've absolutely loved creole food here. There were 7 of us. 3 adults, 3 teenagers and a hyper 8yr old. We skipped appetizers so we could have dessert. A few of us had their Chicken and Gumbo. A few of us had Shrimp & Grits....one tried their Oysters Rockefeller. Everyone was content. The portions are perfect and the price point is fair. My favorite part....Andouille sausage. I was blessed enough to get a moment with the chef and he told me all about it. Much appreciated! We tried the beignets, bread pudding and Panna Cotta. 10/10 would enjoy again. Thank you for a great meal. This Nola momma appreciated it so much!“

“We found this place online, so we had no idea what to expect. The service was excellent from all members of the team, and the food was beautiful. We had soft shell crab and the most garlicy garlic shrimp you have ever had. The value for money was brilliant too. The restaurant has only been open about 8 months but based on our experience they can only go from strength to strength. Thank you Cloe and team!“

“I will definitely recommend Happy Crab. Was invited to Happy Crab for casual business lunch today. When I first see its Signature name, I knew it couldn’t be wrong. I love their decoration and sea views. Very romantic and elegant restaurant. The food was served quick and all flavors are delicious as well as creative. It is lucky to get the chance to meet the owner Lily, she has great personality. Great smile, being honest & adorable. “The Krispy Krunchy Chicken was great! The service was top-notch. Vicky, the manager, was super-friendly and helpful. They make their chicken fresh and hot. Even if the chicken they already have there is only 30 minutes old, they will make a fresh batch for you. One thing… you may want to call or order ahead, because it does take 17 minutes to cook.“

“Went there to support my friends band that was playing there. I ordered a Jamison Manhattan. It was one of the skimpiest pours I've seen but that wasn't an issue. When I asked the price $28!!! That's twice the price of the Space Needle let alone a Des Moines dive bar.

Edit: Heard from one of the band members that the insane prices had been adjusted. I made a return visit and the prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was quaint and comfortable and the music was great. I plan to return.“
