We had a graving for a Banana Split Sundae or a Banana Fudge Sundae and no matter where we searched (by phone or Yelp) in the Federal Way area (Denny's, Shari's, Black Bear Diner, etc.) not a single business served either. We thought a Banana Split was a standard, but found we were mistaken. We finally called Stone Cold Creamery and the gentleman answering the phone (later identified as Dave) said they don't have one on the menu, but he would be glad to make one up for us. I love this Coldstone. It may not have the frills or modern flavor mashups of the modern ice cream shops (like salt & straw) but the classics are on point. Their mint sundae thing is the best. All served up with great customer service- the perfect stop after a dinner out or on your way to a fun evening somewhere.
