“Long wait to order in store on a Saturday afternoon. At least 30 minutes. Then 3 of the 4 rotating flavors were sold out. As it was disappointing for my nephews Bday surprise treat, the cookies were insanely delicious. Yummmm.
Update, 5 or so yrs later... the Puyallup/South Hill Manager and team have been wonderful. Kind, and never out of flavors unless a big sale (like crumbles recent bday and just before close). 😋“

There are usually a couple of employee who works there and they’re so busy - no one greets you.

“Just came in for the first time today very lovely ladies there. Very helpful and kind. I used to drive to Tacoma just to get a slice of cake when I had the yearning. But now having one so close to home is really nice. They are equal if not better than celebrity cake studios in Tacoma. The cake was moist I had the carrot cake which is my favorite the cream cheese frosting was not overly powerful which is nice I don't tend to like a buttercream or cream cheese frosting that is super super sweet so this was very nicely done. I'll be back to try all their other flavors at some point. Thanks for opening such a neat place to have in town!“

“I've been going here for many years. I used to bring my daughter to select snacks for her lunches and just for fun. Recently. I brought my grandchildren with me to pick out an after school treat. The store is always well stocked and neat and clean. The employees are friendly and helpful.“

Service is friendly, sincere, and you can tell the bakers care. The space is inviting, no gimmicks, just good baking done well.

My only nitpick (and it’s a small one): come early, because the best stuff flies off the shelves. But when you get it fresh? That’s the kind of bake that makes me want to roll up my sleeves and say, ‘This is what a bakery should be.’

However, there is a short, much older woman who is unnecessarily incredibly rude to new staff who, mind you, just started and are still in training (maybe someone should tell her that). Other places charged a hefty price for a tiny cake. This place charged a very fair price for our cake, and it was big too! They provided us a photo album of cakes they’ve done so that we could choose what we wanted, and they were able to accommodate the colors and flavors I chose. They also provided delivery and setup. We were shocked at how beautiful it was when we saw it at our venue! We were also amazed at how delicious it was. My family ate the leftover cake for days, and there was none wasted!“

You can order drinks at the kiosk to skip the line. There are a few tables inside the cafe to wait for your order or to just hang out. I love their Vietnamese coffee!!! It’s the only reason I go here. I try to go when I work bc it’s literally down the street! Highly recommended when you happen to be in Federal Way!“
