“Came in late on a Sunday night for a take out order and received phenomenal service. We were probably close to closing time, but they ushered us in without any hesitation, took our large order and were so kind as to bring us a few snacks while we waited for our order. We were happy to wait as we hadn’t called ahead, but so appreciated the welcoming gesture. Great bar seating if you wanted to watch a game while dining in with some sake. We got multiple sushi rolls, gyoza, and the order came with a few miso soups and edamame, all of which was heartily enjoyed on our return home. Loved the sushi boat to-go tray which made it so easy to share. California roll did not skimp on the crab. Good food and super nice staff - so glad we stopped in!”

“I ordered the banana bread French toast and it was absolutely worth it! The bacon was thick, salty, and hearty—just the way it should be. The French toast itself was dense, moist, filling, and delicious. Fair warning: it’s a rich breakfast that might leave you ready for a nap afterward, but in the best way possible. If you’re looking for a standout breakfast entrée, I highly recommend the banana bread French toast!”

“My favorite bar in Tacoma. I was looking for a place to watch a huskies game last season and no bars were showing it since the game was on the Peacock app. The manager let me cast my phone to the TV and other huskies fans started rolling in to watch not long after. Love this place.”

“This place has become my new go-to spot for a cup of coffee. I brought my Shih Tzu, Rocco, and as soon as we stepped inside, the friendly staff greeted us with a warm smile. They offered us a bone or a Pup-uccino, which was a thoughtful gesture. The ambiance was incredibly welcoming and relaxing, creating a cozy atmosphere. The coffee was exceptional, with a perfect balance of flavor and not too much sweetness. The staff was incredibly attentive and provided top-notch customer service. “I absolutely adore this place! Not sure how, but the staff always remembers my kiddos order when we walk in. Bagels are fresh, cream cheese is delicious and staff is always professional. My only complaint is that they insist on using fresh blueberries so there’s about a 4-6 week period of time each year they make blueberry bagels and you better get there early if you want some 🤣. On the bright side, I’m not eating a blueberry bagel every day which is probably for the best. Love you guys, thanks for bringing good bagels to Gig Harbor!”

“Kimball Coffeehouse ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On 5/16/24, I visited Kimball Coffeehouse in Gig Harbor, Washington. This coffeehouse has a great history, which I’ve included a link to in the comments. Kimball Coffeehouse has live music on the weekends. The evening I arrived, they were setting up for Open Mic Night. They roast their own coffee beans. They have an extensive menu that includes Breakfasts, Smoothies, Sandwiches, Flatbread Pizzas, Salads, Soups, Snacks, and Desserts. I ordered a Spring coffee drink called Bees Knees, which is a Lavender & Honey Latte. The flavor combination was a bit too subtle for me, but it was good. Next time, I will try something else. The woman sitting next to me ordered a BLT, which looked excellent! One of the things I really like about Kimball Coffeehouse is they seem to have a lot of regulars. Coffee shops like that are hard to find.  I look forward to visiting Kimball Coffeehouse the next time I’m in town.… Highly Recommended!!!”
