“St. John’s Monastery & Bakery is a wonderful stop along Highway 97. The Greek-inspired pastries, rustic breads, and hearty lunch plates are incredibly fresh and flavorful, and you can really taste the care in every bite. The sisters and staff are friendly, and the calm setting by the monastery makes the whole place feel special and relaxing. It’s somewhere I’m happy to take a little detour for, because the food is truly delicious and the atmosphere is so welcoming.“
