“I’ve always loved Taco Bell. The food is consistently delicious, and the combo meals are a great deal. It’s one of my favorite go-to spots for a quick bite. That said, I do wish there was more awareness around how items are fried. Frying things like chicken nuggets and fries in the same oil can be a concern for people with allergies or dietary restrictions. It would be amazing if there were clearer information or separate fryers to help avoid cross-contamination. Still a big fan, just hoping for a bit more care in this area.“

“I've been a Seattle resident my entire life and I've probably been going to Ivar's restaurants almost as long. Let's put it this way, I'm old enough to remember Ivar Haglund's commercials and his guest appearances on the JP Patches show. 😆

I've been meaning to write a review of the Issaquah Ivar's because I'm a local and I've always had such good experiences there. Truthfully, I didn't even realize there was an Ivar's in Issaquah until just a few years ago.

As a former restaurant worker (Shari's) many years back, I'm pretty picky when it comes to restaurants. Here's what I like about this one:

About the restaurant:
-It's clean.
-Bathrooms are well maintained.
-Tables are cleared quickly.
-The drink and condiment section (sodas, ketchup, tartar sauce stuff, etc.) always seems to be well-stocked with everything.
-Floors are clean too.
-Have I mentioned it's clean? lol
-The food is always served hot and fresh. Fries are crispy, fish is crispy, chowder is *amazing*, salads are good. My kids don't like the coleslaw (I think it's good) but they love all the other stuff on the menu.

About the people who work there:
-Great, personable customer service.
-The people who work there are quick when you need something.
-I'm not sure who the red-headed manager lady is but she's really attentive, helpful, and funny. Ever since she started working there, that Ivar's location has really improved on all levels. The previous management was OK but this manager really seems to go above and beyond.
-Bob - Have you met Bob? He's an older gentleman who works there and he's seriously an Issaquah legend. My whole family loves Bob! He is the kindest man and we always look forward to seeing him there. I mean, this Ivar's is good but Bob really sells it. He's definitely one of a kind.

Overall, I feel comfortable eating at this restaurant because they seem to run a tight ship. As far as restaurants go, it's one of the cleanest I've been to anywhere.

And now I'm hungry and need some fish and chips. lol.

“This is the best fast food place in Issaquah. The food is fast hot and tasty. The staff is kind and get the orders right. I had food at this spot soo many times and today just blew me away compared to the lack luster Burger King a few miles away. Keep it up staff! You guys and gals are killing it. That is all!!“

“Fresh ingredients, baked pretty well, fast and efficient service, decent ambience in the dining room although gets noisy when crowded with kids who come right after sports (not the restaurants fault). My biggest issue: all the pizzas end up smelling and even tasting the same, no matter what sauces you pick.“

“They're usually pretty good and I never like get my food wrong. But the only thing is is I always order a large mocha frappe everyday almost everyday and they seem to can't get it right. They got it right probably a couple times out of every time I go cuz I like chocolate around the cup and they seem to not understand that but that's the only thing that bothers me“

“Been coming here for over fifteen years and decided to leave a review. Service is consistently efficient and friendly, and the flavors are always fresh. Wayyyy more options than Chipotle and the protein options have more flavor than Chipotle. Honestly the best tortilla soup I’ve had, even when including “proper” mexican restaurants. Highly recommend the Cholula chicken for whatever entree you’re getting. Such amazing flavor.“

“Customer service was great, friendly, helpful, and quick. Wait time was minimal. The food is dependable here, the sandwich made to request, with ingredients tasting fresh and the bread nice and soft just as I like it. I'm glad they continue to offer the veggie patty option, a nice choice for us vegetarians.

Vegetarian options: Most of the menu-board sandwiches contain meat, but there are some purely vegetarian options, including the veggie patty, and veggie delite.

Parking: I have never had a problem parking right next to the restaurant.“

The staff were welcoming and friendly. I tried hot toasted roast beef and cheese sandwich. The bread was really fresh, and overall it was delicious. They were also quick. Please visit the toilet to enjoy interesting facts about planets. \n\nIt's in a convenient spot, which makes it easy to pop in for a quick lunch. You can park your car, too. \n\nOverall, if you're in Issaquah and in the mood for a quick, tasty sandwich, definitely give Jimmy John's a try.“
