“FOOTLONG FRENZY You are the boss, yes you. That's right you are in charge at Subway. "Eat Fresh" and have it your way. Here's the good part. Everyday they offer one of their delicious footlong subs on your choice of breads and cheese toasted or not covered with your choice of fresh veggies and condiments and do it all for $6...yup you da boss! Thursday is my special day featuring their Italian B.M.T my favorite sub forever at my favorite Subway. Since their B.M.T came out I have ordered it many times trying to recreate the hogie the I ate at my neighborhood hogie shop in Wayne PA (suburb of Philly) in 1966 the year that I owned every single baseball card printed. No, I don't still have them Two days ago I went back to the simple basics when I ordered my B.M.T. on white bread not toasted with yellow cheese with lettuce tomato pickle and onion oil and vinegar sprinkled with oregano...no mas. Eureka I found it! Wooshed back in time to Philly Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale I thoroughlly enjoyed my "hogie". My trip back in time was cut short by the customer behind me. He had ordered a Meatball Marinara footlong when the nice lady that built my delicious childhood sub hogie grinder apologized and said that there were not enough meatballs left to make his after the lunch rush. The manager quickly verified that there were only two and seemingly eager to please asked if he would like another choice...seemed pretty normal to me...she tried. Then Mr. Meatball huffed and puffed and said tersely "I'll just have to go someplace else for lunch" stormed out and headed across the parking lot on his quest. Folks there are much bigger concerns in our lives and only a few really important ones at that (a friend explained to me years ago over KFC extra crisp chicken). I would not want to meet Meatball man at 37,000 feet if they have already sold out of teriyaki chicken he wanted or Ruth Chris if the had just 86'd the bacon wrapped filet mignon that evening. The kind ladies at Subway had really tried to give good customer service (misnomer nowadays) however there are always people that lock up puff up and give up. He might have even gotten a complimentary chocolate chip cookie had he been nice polite and somewhat flexible. Take their Oven Roasted Chicken or Tuna or Black Forest Ham or Turkey Breast enjoy your sub sandwich call an old friend or start a new book. When in Newcastle try Subway and my Starbucks next door. “My wife & I love MOD pizza - we buy one every week at the Newcastle store, and we've been doing this for over a half dozen years. MOD has had some excellent team members at Newcastle over the years, and the VERY BEST are the team there right now - Jacob and Mark. Totally know what they're doing, and they are so friendly besides!“
“I've been wanting to try this place for a while but I don't really go down to the landing that much, decided to try it out on a Thursday evening before taking my friend to the airport. It was not crowded at all and the place was super clean. We ordered online then decided to eat there. The staff were very nice. The chicken sandwich was very fresh tasting, I can tell they used good quality ingredients. The chicken was very tender and crispy. I like that the seasoning is kind of peppery! The fries were great and their lemonade tasted fresh with real strawberries and no artificial flavors. Portions are good sized.Overall I'm looking forward to going back soon!“
“A step ahead of most teriyaki places. The staff were very friendly and upbeat. Teriyaki and brisket were absolutely delicious and I'd say better than toshi's or bistro down the hill. The salad is actually a salad with all sorts of good stuff and and NOT a bunch of lettuce with ranch, I really appreciate that. All for 12$ too. I highly recommend this place.“
“I went here based on the reviews of the food and the vibe of the owner/staff and those reviews did not disappoint. The food was incredible, I tried a bit of the Shrimp PO'Boy, Cod Fish and Chips, and the Crab Cakes. I highly recommend the crab cakes. The staff was equally incredible, just seemed like they were super nice people with a community that really enjoyed their food and sharing that with them.“
“Fantastic food, generous portions, very fresh. Hard to find good vegetarian or vegan options in this area. Hummus republic is the best one I’ve found so far and I’ll be returning frequently.Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options (not just sides)“
“Decided to try this place out for a work lunch and it was very welcoming & food was delicious! I got the chicken shawarma wrap and their Somali spiced tea, which came with complimentary lentil soup as I was waiting for my meal. Very kind and hospitable for a quick grab and go!I highly recommend for a casual, Black-owned, local spot with fresh & made to order dishes. I also didn't feel overly stuffed or sluggish afterwards! I appreciate that their dishes are halal :)Parking: It's street parking, but it wasn't very difficult to find a spot on MLK.“
“Been eating here since I lived on Hudson back in 08”…This place has remained consistent over the years…TO this DAY…the best burgers and fries I’ve ever had in the state of Washington. Make sure everyone in car has their own large bag of fries, Trust me!Oyster Sammy on point!!!“
“the drinks here are awesome, i always stop by here after i eat at a restaurant inside the mall. the salted lemon one is pretty good if you are into sweet and saltyish kinda drinks, otherwise u can’t go wrong with the original sugar cane. they got the good crushed ice too. one day i’ll try the street foods here“
“I never understood why people flock to this place, but since it was across the way from the Tesla supercharger and I needed a quick boost, I dropped by.I do admit the advice is impeccable and the store is clean and very welcoming. The condiments are also even better than your typical fast food restaurant and so it does feel like an upscale fast food restaurant.I still don’t understand though why these chicken burgers are in such demand. It’s no better than any other chicken sandwich imho. ?Ps check out the line to the drive thru. It’s like in and out burgers. There aren’t likes like this in Washington, but I guess the re are for chik fil a ?“
“This is a no frills place to eat a good burger. That is no place to sit and eat. So you are going to be eating in your car or standing outside. The quality of the burger is excellent for the price they charge. They are open late so it's a great place to get a snack after a night of partying or studying.Vegetarian options: Do not come yet if you're vegetarian. They have almost meat options.“
“Came to beat dinner rush around 6pm. Wasn't busy at all and you can just place the order on the 2 touchscreen computers. We had the avocado with fried chicken burger and spicy BBQ burger. Fries order on the side btw, not included with the burger menu. I liked my avocado fried chicken, but apparently the spicy BBQ is not spicy BBQ enough. Not even enough BBQ and to call it spicy too... Anyways, the fries were on the skinnier side than usual (half the thickness of McDonald's) however the crispiness and salt that they put was great! The decor was inviting and open with different types of sitting. They have seats outside as well. More people came for dinner after us but it didn't get too crowded for a Sunday. All in all, it was great and I would come back if I wanted burger and I'm in the area.“
“I didn’t eat Subway for a few years after the location near me had terrible tasting sandwiches. Then I found this location and the food tastes very fresh, the owner is very nice and great customer service. It’s the only Subway that I eat at now :)“
“Best Filipino fast food! Please try the fried chicken with gravy and Peach Mango pie. You can't go wrong with those regardless of your race palate ? Know that if a restaurant has long lines all the time, it's because the food is good!! It's worth trying it once in your life. ?“
“I had the arctic cod fish and chips! I'm not exaggerating when I say that it was the perfect blend of crispy batter and fish, so nothing felt overpowering and they were crisped to perfection! I'm also a huge fan of tartar sauce and the fries and fish and chips just went so well together with that sauce. Can't wait to come back and try some more!! Also the folks working the counter and kitchen were amazing and very kind.“
“Shack Burger $7.79Shack Stack $12.79Cheese Fries $5.49Vanilla & Chocolate Shake $6.29The burger was of course delicious, but I was surprised at how delicious the shake and fries were? It's convenient to order on your tablet screen. The burger patty was meaty and satisfying! In addition to the patty, Shack Stack also includes fried mushrooms and cheese, making it quite filling? The potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside ? I added cheese sauce. You can add ketchup freely in the store ?The shake was easier to drink than I expected, and even though it had a lot of calories, I ended up drinking a lot! lolThere aren't that many seats in the store, but I was able to sit down without waiting around 1pm on a holiday ?It might be a good idea to take out and eat at a nearby park ?Thank you for the meal?“
“I’ve been coming here for over a decade! Their service is always top-tier and brings a smile to everyone’s faces, I’m glad they’re getting business (: At this point, I’ve almost tried every single item on their menu and I have no complaints. A few personal favorites are the typical Pad Thai, pad se ew, red & green curry, Lad na, chicken chop chop, and the crispy garlic chicken! Those are a must try! (Can’t go wrong with the Tom Yum soup on cold days!) Please come & find out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!Kid-friendliness: In a safe environment with other food options and live music and performances at times!Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance has a wheelchair accessibility with tablet for ordering if needed“
“Love having fish and chips on Lake Washington just wish you got more fish for your money. The old Asian guy who works here is a joke and enjoys being a jerk to customers. I'm sorry that you're 100 years old and don't like working in a fast food joint maybe it's time to move on to something else like a Walmart door “
“I decided on their exemplary Beyond happy Burger, and try to keep your hat on, it didn't frustrate. The patty was impeccably prepared and cooked to delicious flawlessness, settled between a feathery bun and new, fresh garnishes. The blend of flavors was just sublime, leaving me hankering more with each nibble.“
“Turkish pide is now something I will look for, thanks to Istanbul Cuisine in Bellevue, WA. The taste, texture, aroma, and presentation of their pide was WOW! Everything about it was delightful and balanced - every bite was delicious! We also love their Ciq Kofte and Kunefe - rich and satisfying! A must try for those who seek well-made food.“
“Don't have high expectations as to the atmosphere and you won't suffer any disappointment. It's a cafe. Mostly serves the takeout orders of regulars and the local business lunch crowd. But, the food! Oh my. So good. Deep seasonings that are complex and vibrant. Chicken cooked to perfection. Even the rice is a cut above.“
“Food was good. Had the lobster roll and it was somewhat tasty. Also, had the sandwich and friend had the salmon salad. We shared a clam chowder and it was ok just too creamy for my liking. Other friend had the fish and chips. Fish had some flavor and fries are well just fries nothing special.“
“Found our new pizza haven! My niece is head over heels for the Cheese Pizza, and my sister and I are all about the Create Your Own Pizza. This place is not just a pizza joint; it's a cool hangout spot with plenty of tables and a vibe that's just right - not too crowded, but lively enough. The quick service was a bonus - no long waits for our pizza fix! What made the experience even better was the super-friendly staff. Everyone was welcoming and made us feel right at home. Already making plans for a repeat visit because when you find a place with fantastic pizza, a relaxed atmosphere, and friendly faces, you keep coming back for more! Can't wait to indulge in those delicious pizzas again!“
“in conjunction with their app, this place fails to disappoint. i appreciate the consistency and speed with which subs are made and ready. Given the limited dining options on the island and the south end particularly, i'm very pleased to have this location available for quick weekend lunches. I have not been disappointed once in the sub that i ordered. I recommend this chain restaurant.“
“Great food, great employees, but ALWAYS sub-zero temperatures inside. We actively avoid coming here because the temperature inside is always 59 degrees Fahrenheit…which may be comfortable if you’re on the grill, but we almost cant make it -“
“I placed an order on line for pick up. A friend picked it up for me. I was so happy to see that everything was bagged very carefully and safely. I’m very picky and I was so impressed with the care they took to package our delicious meals. Thank you so much! What a great team you have there!!“
“This was a very good Taco Bell. The seating area was clean and the food was was what I like about Taco Bell, fast and fresh. Order was done by kiosk so not much staff interaction but they were nice.Parking: Parking free and ample. Bathroom clean and code provided by staff.“
“Service was beyond exceptional! Branddie, I don't know if I got her name right, made us feel home with her warm smile and kind demeanor. She is making sure every single customer is taken care of. She is one of a kind!Parking: Plenty of parking and each one is wide.Kid-friendliness: My daughter feels comfy and happy while there.“
“The best fast food burger anywhere (and I'm from California)! Last time I was here, it was a pay-per-topping model. Now it's a fixed fee for the burger and all toppings are no additional charge.However. It's very expensive ($14 for bacon cheeseburger). It's a better deal to just go to Red Robin and get unlimited fries and full service.“
“Okay whoever the sweet girl was working on the evening shift of 8th of January deserves a raise. They were so kind and sociable and recommended their favourite sub to me. Great service in and out very quickly. Clean restaurant and convenient location. Coming back again for sure.“
“So I arrived to 1 employee working up front. The guy in the back didn't come to the grill for 15 minutes. This is NOT my complaint. The staff deserves to take a break and rest. It was around 4 o'clock if I remember correctly. It was the weekend. The girl up front doing sandwiches all by herself was absolutely on FIRE! She had no support but never faltered, never stopped smiling, and never quit moving. PROMOTE this girl ahead of her peers. The sandwich was fabulous as always and although tgis isn't my normal location, I know I can visit it and be taken care of like my other locations. Well worth the stop and I am glad I did.“
“I had the chicken tacos. 3 of them. I wanted to get the lengua but im abstaining from beef and pork. Flavorful and tasty. And i like that the tortillas are, I believe made in-house and not supermarket bought. I am visiting from Austin, TX (generally I prefer blue collar food trucks/restos there) and I can sort of tell how traditional tacos should be like. This place is one of them.Friendly and welcoming service. Lady who took my order was very nice. It's affordable but not the largest of portions. I don't mind that as long as the food is good and fresh. Quality of quantity, right.Cash only. They have a sign outside and inside saying this. Come prepared.Ample parking spaces in front of Planet Fitness.“
“I can't say much about Dairy Queen's dining options. It had been many years since I had been to one and thought they only did desserts. I was surprised by the large quantity of non-desserts on the menu.I was only there for a Peanut Buster Parfait as I had recalled how good they were. I was not disappointed. It was every bit as delicious as I remembered. The drive-thru was relatively quick in spite of the long line of cars. The employees all seemed clean and friendly during checkout. If you haven't been in a while, check them out.“
“First time here, the staff was very nice. I had the meatball and it was very tasty! The dining area needed to be cleaned, but I liked the atmosphere. I do wish they had brewed iced tea. As someone with diabetes it's nice to have unsweet tea as an option. I would be back to try a salad.“
“I went to this dairy queen with a. Purple of friends and while I didn't eat they both really enjoyed their food. The workers here were very nice going out of their way to make this a more pleasant experience and I couldn't have asked for a better fast food experience.“
“1. This is my Taco Time. There are many like it, but this one is mine.2. My Taco Time is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.3. My Taco Time, without me, is useless. Without my Taco Time, I am useless. I must eat my Taco Time well. I must eat more deliciously than my enemy who is trying to outeat me. I must feed myself before he feeds himself. I will …4. My Taco Time and myself know that what counts in this feast is not the tacos we consume, the sound of our munching, nor the sauce we spill. We know that it is the satisfaction that counts. We will be satisfied…5. My Taco Time is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weaknesses, its strength, its ingredients, its garnishes, its texture and its taste. I will ever guard it against the ravages of cold and staleness as I will ever guard my legs, my arms, my eyes, and my heart against damage. I will keep my Taco Time delicious and ready. We will become part of each other. We will …6. Before God, I swear this creed. My Taco Time and myself are the defenders of my hunger. We are the masters of our appetite. We are the saviors of my taste.7. So be it, until victory is America’s and there is no enemy, but peace!!Dietary restrictions: I can 5 or 6 tacos before I'm too full. Maybe you can eat more“
“EJ and Jasmine really hooked it up for me. I didn’t wait that long but they still gave me a free drink and pizza. It really made my night! Can’t tell you how exceptional this MOD is over any other I’ve been to. I will only be coming here for pizza!“
“Costco food court. It's located at Costco and it sells food so they picked the perfect name, although I'm not sure about the court part. It only sells food so if you need anything else you'll need to go inside the store. It's usually chaos here with crowds trying to figure out what window to go to or if they have already called your number or if they have even remembered to call it at all. It really is a wonder that they can't organize things better. Maybe a digital display showing numbers called? I don't expect that the new members only policy will help but I'm still for it. A good cheap meal to be had if you don't mind the chaos.“
“We visited Macho Burger during the soft opening of their brick and mortar store, having never been to the food truck. The burgers are awesome (we tried a plain burger, the mushroom swiss, and the black bean burger) and the fries were fantastic. Excited to have them in the neighborhood. According to my daughters \\\"we can absolutely come here again.\\\"“
“Jersey Mike's Newcastle location on Coal Creek Pkwy. deserves a High 5! The service is always VG. The staff members are friendly and welcoming. The sandwiches are are also top notch! The best among the sandwich chains. When it comes to authentic sub sandwiches, they can't be beat. Try the #13 Original Italian on white, "Mike's Way" and your getting as genuine a sub sandwich as you'll find anywhere. I'm typically a "support the independent, local business" type guy but, the product doesn't lie! There are many good, in fact great independent sandwich shops in the Seattle and suburban vicinity. Jersey Mike's, done right, as at the Coal Creek location is as good as any of them.“
