“I’m from Dallas, TX and have had a hard time finding true southern BBQ in this entire state! Except Pete’s! Now, I’ve had great smoked brisket and other great smoked culinary experiences, but this one is the most Southern. What I mean is that the coleslaw is excellent with a medium shred, not too large or chopped too small, and an even amount of dressing. The sweet cornbread muffins with honey-butter straight from cast-iron are amazing. The pickle slices are even a culinary delight, sitting next to raw onions and a plethora of BBQ sauces to choose from. Oh, and free ice-cream cones if you even have room left to fill (we did not, lol). I could go on about the sweet tea, baked beans, slow-smoked ribs, shredded smoked pork, sausage, chicken, and desserts but…Just bring your appetite and try it for y’all’s selves! ;)“

“HOLY MOLY! It was a place we didn't expect to find, but so glad we did! What looks like an unassuming hole-in-the-wall place turned out to be the best BBQ I've ever had. Amazing customer service, with food that was so flavorful that just the aromas has me salivating. I had the Smoked Salmon Dip with Citrus Au Jus, while my husband had the Caveman Half Chicken meal, with potato salad and baked beans. Their beans? ABSOLUTE. PERFECTION. “I ordered from here through DoorDash just now, and oh my goodness. I’ve never had moshiko chicken before, and this was the best juiciest chicken I’ve ever had before. The macaroni salad is to die for, and I also got a spam musubi and it was the best I’ve ever had. The rice was also cooked to perfection, new favorite Hawaiian spot!!“

“Pretty nice place for a night meal. Me and my friends just finished watching concert at night and were trying to find a restaurant in the cold night. That's the only restaurant open nearby. Manager treated us well and even gave us a lift to hotel near airport. Will revisit here if get a chance to Seattle again :)“

“The food does not disappoint! I’ve had lots of roast duck and char siu and this was probably best char siu I’ve had in a while. It’s not dyed red (which I’m actually okay with), moist, and so so flavourful. If they offer more duck sauce, take it! lol Looks mostly like a takeout place, but there a few clean tables and chairs to dine in, which we did. It all looked so good I didn’t even take a pic beforehand !“
