“I saw an article in a local paper and had no idea what to expect the first time I stopped in. I was in for a treat. The menu is basic but the results are superb. Example? Most anyone can fix mashed potatoes. Not everyone can do it like The Saucy Sailor. Same with every dish I've tried. It's something way different than any fast food or pub fare. I recommend it. I think you'll be glad you became a customer.“

“We stopped here for lunch when we were passing through. We had been traveling for a few days and just wanted a quick and easy lunch. We were glad that we stopped here!

We ordered at the counter and the food was tasty and quick. Our only complaint was the lack of seating for our group of six. We had to split into two groups when we sat down to eat.“

“I’ve been going through their drive-thru consistently for the past three years. I have only experienced friendly service, and it’s been quick. Not immediate, which has indicated it was made while I was waiting. Everything has been piping-hot. I love the mulitas; I always get a trio of carnitas, carne asada, and adobado, and can’t say which is my favorite; they are all delicious. Their quesadillas also beckon regularly, though they are on the oily side, so I consider them a guilty treat. My sister always orders and enjoys the fish tacos. We both love their salsa verde. Breakfast burritos are tasty and satisfying. I rate 5 out of 5 based on what kind of establishment it is. I’m not comparing them to every other Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to, but they are doing great for what they are.“

“Okay, you definitely have to know what you’re getting into here - I mean, it’s a Taco Del Mar. But for a fast-food establishment, this is probably about as nice as you can get. It’s not technically as fancy as something like a Chipotle, but it’s got more soul than any of those corporate slop bowl places could ever dream of having, and it feels like it’s maintained in a much more loving manner. The food is tasty and comforting, and the employees couldn’t be kinder. If you’re in the neighborhood and you’re looking for a quick bite, there aren’t too many spots I’d recommend above it.“

“Great customer service stood out on two recent visits. The food is ready pretty fast, but it is a step above "fast food." Only complaint is the overactive AC unit in the dining room. It is chilly, and the air blows so strong you have to secure your napkins and papers.“

“The icee machine was down so we couldn't get one of those. We ordered 2 sandwiches and the last that made them was super nice. She made the sandwiches perfectly. The food was alright but the seating area was really dirty. The walls had all kinds of splatters and what looked like someone had thrown food at the wall and it was just allowed to drip down the wall and dry. Not the nicest place to sit and eat so we gathered our food and left.“

“MOD is pretty decent. I really like that you can add as many toppings as you want for one price. It was cooked in a reasonable amount of time, too. I usually go for a meat-lovers-style pizza, but decided to try a half-and-half today, and it was a nice change.

“It's a subway, but definitely a good one, it's always clean, organized and everything is efficient. The one unique thing about this location is that they offer coffee and specialty coffee and monthly special drinks that are pretty good. A great option in base.“

This isn't a date night dinner for 2, this is what you get for the soccer team after school, when you need to stretch $50 for a week worth of meals or for when the boys are over for some couch co-op gaming.

“Drive thru experience is always quick and pleasant, I enjoy the folks who work there. Only docking 1 star because they don’t serve breakfast even though it’s on the menu when you drive up. That’s not the staff’s fault though, get it together, corporate! Oh well, still gonna get my 4th meal here #livemas“
