When we said we were celebrating we were even given birthday napkins. The bakers are so nice and the cupcake was perfect. Buttercream on chococolate cake ?. Perfect.“

“Is it outrageously overpriced ice cream?- yes. Is it outrageously good ice cream?- yes! The best dairy free ice cream I've ever had. $25 for 4 scoops of ice cream is crazy to me, but we're from out of town and had to try this place. The Salty Caramel Ash and California Cabin were so yummy!“

“Unique old garage atmosphere, dark and dirty with somewhat community seating. There are many beers on tap which super fun at order time. The staff is happy to pour samples and is prepared for the asks. However, the samples are so small that they are worthless unless you are a tasting pro or just trying to distinguish between a stout and a Pilsner. If your whole existance is varieties in tap beers, samples are part of the business. Embrace that and ensure customer experience is part of the package. Every time I get samples, I get the rushed feeling. Here's your 2 drop sample, suck it down and give me your order. I come here for the ~40 beer tap selection; it's part of the fun! Sampling adds to the experience and prices are high enough that I want to enjoy my beers.

I like dinner with my beers and the food trucks are mostly good, but one is always limited to that one truck. The location doesn't lend itself to other options.“

“I came in right as they opened today and was welcomed right away. I ordered a Raspberry Jalisco Mule and Tortilla Soup with shredded chicken. I have to say the soup was one of the best tortilla soups I have had in a long time. you were even able to choose your flavors and spice level because a plate was brought out with tortillas, limes, onions, cilantro, chili crisp, avocado, jalapeno, and I don't remember the other seasoning but it was phenomenal. I can't wait to try more of the menu and continue to support local! Diablo's is definitely a place that should be on everyone's list to at least try and then frequent.“

“We hired Down to Earth Cuisine for our January micro wedding in Leavenworth. We did a buffet style dinner and every single dish was AMAZING. The owner is so personable and helpful. The first time we talked on the phone was 30+ minutes and he wanted to know about us, what kind of food we liked, where we were from etc. We had chefs Tom and Melissa the day of the wedding and they were so great. They were personable and their food was top notch. I didn’t get to eat the appetizers they had prepared for the rest of our guests because we were taking photos and they packaged some leftovers meticulously and set them aside for us! All our guests had nothing but great things to say about their interactions with them and their meal they prepared for us. This company was so great to work with. I definitely recommend hiring them for your event!“

“My favorite place to eat in Ballard - the food, the staff and the atmosphere are all a delight, every time! They even cater to special dietary requirements and do a vegan pizza with actual vegan cheese (rather than just the bland stuff you’d normally get in most places), and their wholewheat crust is to die for! They also do the best dolma and the best hummus veggie platter. My whole family and I keep coming back, thank you!“

“We did chicken teriyaki, half mild and half spicy (it’s not on the menu). They were both really good but the spicy one was better so I’d recommend that one if you only want to try one. There’s teriyaki sauce at each table as well if you want more sauce, which I did for the mild teriyaki!“

“Good authentic Oaxacan food and great service. Prices are very reasonable. We had the Oaxacan pizza and lamb dish, they were both really delicious. Portions are big, especially the pizza. We paid around $25 per person. Parking could be challenging here. I highly recommend trying this restaurant if you like Mexican flavors.“

“Dang. I just ate at Giddy Up and I did not expect the food to be that good. I met some coworkers there for a bite and drink and thought the food would be run-of-the-mill burgers and beer. Not only was the food extremely good, but that craft cocktails were awesome! Try the chicken sandwich - you won't regret it.“

They have a nice variety of food options made on premises and everything is delicious. Our favorites are the breakfast burritos (huge and yummy), the coffee cakes (flavors rotate), GF banana bread w/ chips, the danishes, the marzuka bars, the cookies, and the turkey pesto panini. Though I trust Ms. Henderson's review, an inviting atmosphere, excellent service, and value for the money has always been my experience. Last weekend, I brought my sailing students to The Jibe to warm up after teaching sailing in the driving sleet and snow. With a big smile, we were invited to order food and drink and stay as long as we needed. On the four occasions we were there over the two days, the place was packed with delighted customers, especially us! “Claire’s served a delightful lunch! We went on Friday at noon and even though the restaurant was very busy. We walked right in and sat down at a table. The service was excellent. The menu is huge, tons of options to pick from, all day brunch is served with plenty of waffle and pancake and French toast options. The crispy potatoes were especially good, there’s a curry spice on them that makes them unique and very tasty. Great spot!

Vegetarian options: You can remove the meat from any dish to make it vegetarian so there are plenty of options

Parking: Street parking is free for 3 hours, if you can find it

Kid-friendliness: Kids would love this place, lots of pancake and waffle options“

“Hadn’t been here since we were dating back in 2011. Just celebrated a midweek birthday lunch with the kids in tow and it’s still fantastic even through this new lens. Most of our crew is vegetarian so tried the veggie carne asada- one in a burrito, one in a chimichanga. Super great! Son had the real beef version and it was also eaten all the way up. Service was super friendly and helpful and we had a fantastic time. Music is also awesome. :)“

Where was the manager and why did he/she allow those "THUGS" to act like unprofessional jerks! It's a good thing I wasn't there, things would've gotten real bad, real quick! Every employee on duty that day should have been ARRESTED and FIRED! I hope it was worth it!“
