“Run, do not walk to Nell Thorn Restaurant & Pub restaurant in La Conner. From the second that you walk inside the front doors, you know…that you are not in Kansas anymore! The surroundings were warm, and very inviting, and I loved the fact that every single member of the staff that approached the table, introduced themselves by name. The view is so unbelievable. Looking out of the windows, and seeing the moon reflected off of the water in La Conner was simply put: Magic. I wasn’t necessarily going to have a cocktail, but when I looked at their list, I absolutely had to order their Manhattan, which was exemplary and used only the best ingredients. Their menu is very reasonably priced for the unbelievable culinary experience that they provide. I was having a hard time deciding on what to choose from the menu, and the chicken was recommended to me. I don’t normally eat chicken in a restaurant. But after reading the ingredients which included confit chicken, wild mushrooms, and a marsala sauce, I decided to change my mind. Finding out I was gluten intolerant they even suggested substituting the pasta, which was on the menu, with their fried polenta. It was magnificent! Every bite was crispy, and every portion of the plate had a different phenomenal flavor that just exploded in your mouth. The owner recommended a beautiful red wine which was the perfect accompaniment for our dinner. And don’t get me started on the desert that was smothered in a rum caramel sauce. “Lovely little pub-style restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy, and the food is tasty and creative. Our server was also the bartender - he was gracious and made us feel at home. We've eaten here a couple of times before, and have always enjoyed it. However, currently the prices are excessively high, compared with similar dishes at other restaurants. Every choice of wine on the menu is expensive - why couldn't they also have a modestly-priced choice? While our server was great, it took forever to get our food, even though they were nearly empty...“

“I needed to book a place for a funeral reception for a death in the family with short notice. When I tell you that Tiffany from the Secret Cove was on top of it, I mean from start to finish. She made herself available to communicate with even over the weekend and came up with an appetizer menu super quickly at a reasonable price. The views and space were perfect for our needs and they even provided a great little table to set flowers and pictures in front. I would not hesitate to use them again for any kind of event and I would highly suggest Secret Cove for anyone needing an event space. “Stopped here on our way back to Missouri. I grew up just down the road from this place and this was my first time eating here ( I'm embarrassed to say). we had the fish and chips and shrimp basket, both were amazing! I have eaten A LOT of fish and chips in my life and this was hands down the best. I love the shaded outdoor dining area, it was clean and comfortable. The staff here, is super friendly. If there is a line DO NOT let it deter you from stopping. It is work the wait. I even got 5lbs of shrimp to take back to MO.“

“We ordered the special oyster shooters . Shooters were very delicious. Tasted very fresh . Not too spicy ,Definitely recommend. We ordered two tacos. Oyster and Al pastor. The oyster taco had a slaw on top , very fresh and not overly battered. Definitely recommend if you love oysters and Mexican food. Definitely going back. They have seating indoors and outside. Staff were very friendly. Can’t wait to try a michelada. Prices are reasonable“

“Trident Foods was quick and easy. Precool the trailer. DO NOT FOLLOW GPS! You'll want to be in the right lane on hwy 20, when you get to R Ave which is a light, follow rd. R ace will turn to Q Ave, and you'll follow the truck signs of course, again don't follow gps. Q ave will take you to 4th street, and you'll turn left! 4th street will take you straight to the shipper.“

“The price was was too high for some original burgers and fries. They even charge for dipping sauce which they even forgot with our orders when it was brought out. Kids meals wasn’t that great either. But I guess since the pandemic and their business was loosing money, had to spike the prices for their lost money. Used to be decent price before the Covid stuff. We wouldn’t of mind paying that much if the food was cooked and made better. Lesson learned, not coming back.“
