“I moved to Olympia in 2022 and began looking for good restaurants. After going to 4 Japanese I hit on Kamakura and have been returning there at least 1X/week. Great rolls, rice is perfectly executed, the Drunken Noodles with shrimp are AMAZING(every time). The staff is so kind and accommodating (makes me feel relaxed) The only thing I feel want for is more seaweed in the miso soup. This restaurant reflects everything with a touch of Japanese family tradition. The prices are fairly set and reflect the quality of food. So this is “my go to” Japanese place in Olympia“

“Took the Family tonight to try this place out. It is reminiscent of a place we enjoyed going to NC. Everyone really enjoyed the food, and being able to decide what to put in their bowls/wraps. Portions were large enough for two meals for me and the kids and to satisfy the husband after a long run today. Also happy the online menu listed what was gluten-free and other allergens.

“Loves trappers All you can eat bar! Always a family treat and is our favorite spot for family date night! We usually have a party of 6-8 and spend about $375 if you don't go crazy with appetizers! Great staff and my favorite dude there is Ty!!! Shot out to him for exceptional service and an impeccable sense of humor!“

“This spot has killer gyros, you have to eat some of the meat off top before you can bite into one of the bad boys. The fries are so good you don't even have to add salt and the calamari is so good ill even eat the bed of lettuce they rest on. 10/10“

“Meconi's is my go to. Me and my brother would eat there everyday. My Italian Sandwich was bussin!!!! The food is absolutely delicious. I give Meconis a solid 10/10. I would recommend this restaurant to all. If you haven't gotten a Meconi then you're LACKIN.... Get in there and get you a Meconi ASAP! These Sandwiches are the bomb.com.... Im gonna be eating here on my death bed lol. Anyway if you ha ent tried Meconis, you need too... If your in Thurston county you can Get You A Meconi at Lacey, Olympia, Tumwater...“

“Came by for the first time today, and ordered the #05 (Steak & flank phò). Best Broth I've tasted in town!!! It's very flavorful and not at all watered down. The sizing of the bowl was a lot larger than I expected, having ordered the Regular Size bowl. Overall great food.“

“This restaurant is my go to when I crave Pho. The pho broth is always sizzling hot and tasty. In addition, the serving portions are perfect and they are very generous with toppings. Servers are always welcoming and friendly. I recommend Phot Tai if you want to eat great quality Pho.“

“I enjoy Meconi's subs because the service is fairly quick, the restaurant is clean, and the have the friendliest people.
The Meconi's in Olympia is my favorite! Marie has mastered my order and her co-conspiritors in great service have made the last few visits special.“

“Cleanest MOD in the area! I love the pizza here and concept but I see other MOD be so dirty with cross contamination and not changing their gloves (one time I had to ask an employee at the Yelm highway one to change the gloves he had on at the register before making my pizza), but the staff at this one is very clean and change their gloves appropriately. So glad to have at least one MOD that I can come to!“

“What happened to the Madagascar Vanilla Cinnamon Rolls? Did you change the recipe, the type of flour? What happened? The first time I had one was about a month ago. They were outstanding! Fluffy and literally melted in your mouth. I ordered two today. The dough is gritty. A different texture. It's an issue! Lack of consistency concerns me. Absolutely not the same quality as I had before. Either its not the same recipe, a different type of flour or the baker changed. In any case, I'm stuck with two of them. I wish I had a better review.“

“A true 4 star experience, this place is decent you just have to know what to order. The chicken strips were laughable and sad. But the chipotle chicken burrito and the epic burritos are fantastic. My advice just get the Mexican food items. The burgers and chicken are more of a gimmick“
