“Time for some real talk. This is the ONLY fried chicken Ive ever had that stays crispy after you put it in the fridge. And this is just an anecdote to explain how crispy, delicious and well made this friend chicken is. Order it in advance, get the garlic rice and collards and finish off with a mochi cake. It's indulgent but worth the calories.“

“Pelicana Chicken in Capitol Hill is a gem! The Korean fried chicken wings are insanely crispy and bursting with flavor—their signature sauces are a game-changer. Portions are generous, and the fries come out perfectly golden every time. The staff is super friendly, and the vibe makes it a great spot for a casual meal. “(KENT, WASHINGTON!) I say this, with some sadness in my heart, but I feel compelled to make the following proclamation. EZELL'S has the best peach cobbler I've ever tasted in my life! It is better than my GRANDMOTHER'S! (And most DEFINITELY better than mine!) Every soul food restaurant has peach cobbler. I never have had peach cobbler out. It never looks right to me. It never looks like my grandma's. Maybe I've been missing out on a lifetime's worth of cobbler! ********* They're telling me to that if you need desserts for Christmas but you don't wanna bake desserts for Christmas, ORDER THEIR'S FOR PICK-UP. Based on this cobbler, I'm making the recommendation that you do. My grandmother served peach cobbler every year for Christmas. We had southern Christmas and I had no idea that Pumpkin and sweet potato pies were considered Christmas pies until I was an adult. EZELL'S sells full and partial: cobblers and sweet potato pies.“

“A rare experience of receiving our order exactly as we requested. Other delivery requests from other restaurants have always been wrong. Usually part of our order would have food missing or the wrong items. The food was very tasty and delivered on time. Very satisfied and will order from them again.“

“If you live in Seattle and you love chicken, you must know Ezell's. This chicken is the one rumored to be the meal Opra sent her private jet to Seattle to pick up chicken dinners for her staff. Yes, it's that good.when you walk in, you'll get a face slap with the aroma of their famous chicken. Numerous locations around Seattle and 18 franchises in Washington. This Kirkland location just opened up this year (2024) , and this visit was not my first taste of what I believe is the best tasting chicken I have ever eaten. Single pieces are available, but the meals are the best value. I like regular but spicy is an option. I love the chicken livers; don't judge me. Staff are always polite and helpful. You can dine in or get it to go. Every Ezell's I have been to is very clean, and the quality is consistently good . Resently Ezell's celibrated 40 years of cooking it's famous chicken ,started by Ezell Stephen and Lewis Rudd in February 3, 1984 in the Central District. The chain is owned now by Faye, Ezell's former wife. 5 stars to Ezell's in Kirkland and welcome to the neighborhood.“

“Super friendly service with indoor counter bar for dine-in or a couple outdoor tables when the weather is OK. I always get the pound of spicy fried gizzards which are always made fresh, so I have to wait for them to cook it if I don't use their mobile app to order ahead of time.“

“A bit hard to find if you don't know it's insider Rachel's Ginger Beer, but I've had it twice now and love the flavor. I saw another review stating this was likely the best fried chicken sandwich in Seattle and I think I agree. I can't think of another place I'd rather go for when I'm craving it.This is a great quick bite option, with food prepared relatively quickly. Will be coming again and again to satisfy the lunch craving.“

“Pros: Great food, staff are friendly and accommodating. Space is clean. I’ve been many times and will likely be back.
Cons: They are very slow. I’ve never waited less than 20 minutes, even when I order ahead, and it’s typically closer to 30. Not the place to go if you want something quick. Also, they don’t include even one dipping sauce when you get the tenders or the bites.“
