“I actually went here for the view. That's it.We got a nice table facing mount rainier while I enjoyed a chilled beer watching the sunset. They have a large outdoor seating and almost all tables boast a nice view. Pretty great spot. The service was pretty good and about 8pm on Sunday it was not too crowded. I took the new York strip which came with mashed potatoes, seasonal veggies and gravy. My wife got the chicken with mushrooms and mashed potatoes from the entree. The chicken tasted great but was a bit over cooked. My steak was well cooked and I really liked it.“

“I absolutely love this bar/restaurant in Lake Tapps. The inside is cozy and the outside has breathtaking views of Lake Tapps and Mt. Rainier. The perfect combo. Not to mention, their food and drinks here are fantastic. Prices are reasonable and they have a decent size menu so everyone in your group can find something they like. They have seasonal cocktails too and if you check this place out during the fall then you must try the Pumpkin spice cold brew martini. It was so good that I ordered it three times in one sitting! One side note to Yelp readers, this bar/restaurant is located on a golf course so mention at the security gate that you are going to the restaurant so you can get a parking pass. Also, come early for dinner because this place can fill up fast!“

“Absolutely incredible atmosphere! I love the lodge theming, everything was so cozy. Our server was very kind and upbeat, and the food was delicious. They certainly don't skimp out on the portions! ? Got a delicious chocolate creme pie to take home, certainly hoping to come back in the future.“

“stopped by on a whim as I drove down west valley highway and I was very pleased with the service and food! ordered lumpia, crispy pork belly combo and a brown sugar boba and I was blown away! the crispy pork was beyond good! came with a Mac salad some diced veggies and a wonderfully flavored rice with green onion. the lumpia was freshly made and the boba complimented everything. 10/10 would recommend“

“Oh my god, the cornbread! You get a huge slice of cake-like bread, and it’s topped with what looks and tastes like butter-cream frosting. I had steak and eggs, and the steak was as cooked perfectly. The hash browns were normal, but I tried some of my daughter’s country potatoes and they were just right.“

“PRICING WAS NUTS: Staff was as nice as can be. Food was great. I asked for no bun on my burger, lettuce instead. Came with a piece of lettuce on the bottom and one on top and they CHARGED ME $1.50 to do it. I know all the restaurants are struggling right now but this was sticker shock for me. “This place has become a weekly staple for me. I work in the area so I will stop there some mornings so I can’t say anything about lunch or dinner options but the breakfast is superb. Service can sometimes take a while but it’s to be expected when there’s multiple orders and there’s usually only one person inside making food. All in all, excellent food with awesome people. Highly recommend getting a breakfast sandwich and adding a hash brown on it.“

“JP's never disappoints me. Such a wide variety to choose from. Tonight was a Hawaiian Calzone with white sauce instead of red sauce. They are more then happy to change the sauce upon request. Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf, Mac N Cheese with smoked bacon or spicy sausage. either one is perfect to add. Burgers are cooked perfectly and their Turkey club. yum like I said so much to choose from.“

“Great neighborhood hangout. Our new place to play games, catch-up with friends. We had our BUNCO GAME NIGHT there. TV's, Music. Nice, Clean & Inviting.Parking: I parked 3 blocks away at City Hall because I was going there afterwards. There is a free parking lot 1 block away plus street parking, if you want to parallel park. ? I don't. I could walk there. It's only 7 blocks from my house.“

“We stopped in while running errands and decided to get the fish sandwich and a cup of chowder. It was fairly busy but we were able to get our order in right away. The fish sandwich was served hot and so was the chowder and we didn't have to wait long at all! We also ordered a quart of chowder to go. Like the Chowder House in Des Moines great food and exceptional service!“

“Our first time visiting and we are glad we went! A good hometown feel. The kids had the pancake kids meal which came with a drink and they chose hot chocolate. A mug full with a huge whipped cream top. Cute pancake with a side of meat. Don’t let the photos fool you! The kids pancake was plenty for my 11 yr old and the adult versions are, no lie, bigger than your head! We had great service from Ashley who always checked on us and made sure the kids were happy along with Betty who even gave the kids balloons once they were finished. I recommend a visit to this place.“

“Beautifully newly remodeled with the art work designed about the town. I’m a Puyallup native and recently went to this location after several years. The upgrade was amazing. The service was great. The food was authentically Denny’s. (Although the chef needed more experience cooking a petite sirloin to a medium rare.) My only suggestion would be with the restrooms. Most stalls were out of service (and there aren’t many). In need of repair. Not particularly clean. Everything else was great.“

“It has been over a decade since I have been to Mrs Turners. The service was excellent, tables and restaurant very tidy and clean, although if seated in the banquet room one thing has not changed in a decade, the smell that creeps out for the women's bathroom. Pretty sure they have a venting problem that has never been resolved. The prices are a little steep but the service definitely makes up for that. Only complaint I have about my western omelette is the bell peppers were cut a little big, but still tasty.“

“Caramelized pork belly is over cooked but the sauce is yummy, the red spaghetti is bland but the colossal chicken parmesan is delicious so as mama mia prawns, which tasted like honey walnut shrimp. I did really appreciated how the server split the check asking from the beginning. Reason for 4 not 5 star is server sat us at a ver awkward table of one on each end and two in the middle. The seat at one end was almost in the kitchen/walk area and the other end only a small person could comfortably sit at without bumping into the next table. There were multiple tables of 4 open that we walked by before being seated that we could easily have sat at.“

“Place was extremely busy on Saturday night so there was a little bit of a wait to get seated. However everything else was absolutely amazing. The live musician set a really cool ambiance. And the food was fantastic. We started with the stuffed mushrooms which were probably the best appetizer I’ve had anywhere in a long time. I got the shrimp and grits as my main. I had never had that dish before and I was very pleasantly surprised. My girlfriend got the shrimp fry and was pleased as well. Portions were nice and big and the drinks were good too. 10/10 would recommend.“

“Four Star on the Dive Bar rating scale. It's what you would think of a dive bar. Darker low lit inside, bottles of alcohol on some makeshift press wood that is bending due to weight/age. Pull tabs everywhere, bar seating, and a big freaking fish in a tank (yeah, no clue why either). The woman bartender was nice and the girl who I believe was in the kitchen was very nice also. Whiskey and coke was ok- poured decent. The menu I was handed was very short and simple. I had the Western hamburger and it was good. I would have liked it cooked more med/rare. Granted I was not asked nor did I speak up about it. For a first time visit, I let them cook how they feel it should be as I didn't see "cooked to order" on the menu. Would I come back to try other burgers, sure.... I wouldn't make any special trips- but if driving by, yes“

“easily is becoming one of our favorites. we have enjoyed everything we have tried so far. my boyfriend loves the medium buffalo wings and we both love the nachos- recommend getting beans on the side as they are LOADED and get soggy quickly. we come here for the kraken games and they have had no issue making sure we have a tv to watch wherever we're sitting“

“I haven't been here since the 80's. It hasn't change much, if at all. My New York steak strip was unctuous, flavorful and meaty. The potato, rice pilaf, asparagus and mash potatoes were satisfying. The asparagus was disappointing but I can forgive. Our waitress was attentive and sharp. The seating was old but awesome. I love the booths. Prices were reasonable.“

The container I was given was melting by the time the chef handed it to me. “We had never been here before, despite living in the area for years and years. We arrived a little after 11 and it wasn’t busy. Our wait time was about 10 minutes for hot sandwiches and an order of soup. I had the peppermill chicken sandwich, which had a deliciously spicy sauce on it, and a side of a pasta salad. The chicken was actually entire breast of chicken- I was expecting sliced lunch meat- so that was a pleasant surprise. The pasta salad was chock full of broccoli and carrots and corn with a creamy sauce. Would definitely recommend this place.“

Maybe the hostess could help out the servers by asking customers if they'd like some coffee while they peruse through the menu. That might take the load off the busy servers. Food was very good. “The older waitress was horrible. Seemed like she didn’t want to be there and it took 10 min for her to come take our order when there was maybe three other tables. The young hostess was very sweet & friendly she needs to be moved to waitress. The food was AMAZING & I will come back again solely for that reason. Everything tasted super fresh and full of flavor.
