“stopped by on a whim as I drove down west valley highway and I was very pleased with the service and food! ordered lumpia, crispy pork belly combo and a brown sugar boba and I was blown away! the crispy pork was beyond good! came with a Mac salad some diced veggies and a wonderfully flavored rice with green onion. the lumpia was freshly made and the boba complimented everything. 10/10 would recommend“

“Always great service and good food. This simple dinner has been around for decades, although I'm new to the area. As a single guy, I enjoy the friendly servers that lighten the day and get to know you. The food is consistently good. It's no high class place or special atmosphere, but it's a reasonable, friendly place to get food.“

“Yes, the breakfast is obviously fantastic. Ma's is a staple. We have tried many items on the lunch menu as well and everything has been delicious. The home made potato salad is also fantastic. The prices can't be beat. That's the icing on the cake. It is a local hole in the wall with old school diner vibes. If you are ok with that, you're right at home. The lounge is amazing as well.“

“Absolutely wonderful place! The food is amazing and very high quality ingredients are used. I especially love their shrimp and grits, and the Wagyu steak. The service is also so friendly and welcoming. The whole lodge is beautifully decorated, and will fit all your needs. Overall this is a great place and worth the membership!“

“Price can't be beat. I love the $1.50 Hot Dog and drink. I get the hot dog (without the bun for gluten free) and the ice cream. For my drink I get root beer and make my own root beer float. Where else can you get dinner and dessert for under $5? My frugal side loves this.
Dietary restrictions: Hot dog without the bun can be gluten free (be careful with cross contamination potential).“

“It was an amazing experience when I went with my mom, dad, and little brother. It was a very positive atmosphere and the staff was very kind and helpful seeing as they would check in with me and my family to see how things were, ask if everything was okay, etc. All with a positive attitude and timely manner! “We took a short motorcycle ride from North Bend to Carbonado, we were going to the saloon there, but they weren’t open, so we switched and stopped at the Pick and Shovel instead. I’m so glad we did because it was a delicious burger with some amazing onion rings. If you haven’t tried them before I highly suggest you do. Also, the bartender/waitress was very good at her job. Thank you!“
