“I go to this spot all the time. I'm so glad they came to Lakewood! Everything I've had has been so freakin delicious! The Pad See Ew is like crack and it's my absolute favorite! “I’ve always eaten at the Federal Way location but decided to stop by this location to compare. It’s just as delicious if not better and we had really good service.

It didn’t take very long for food to come out and the seafood pancake was also nice and thicc. They don’t skimp out.

The decor here is different than the federal way one but not in a bad way. Here it’s more modern with ambient lighting vs the old school style booth set up in federal way. There’s also more space in general so it didn’t feel cramped.

I’ll be happy to eat here again in the future.“

“Somewhat of a local foodie. Love to eat at different places in the area. For some reason, the food and service, I keep coming back. Have had most everything on the menu and never an issue. As for service, the staff quickly learn your name and your preferences. Always suggesting new dishes.“

“This is a review from 20 years ago when me and my dad were at Ft. Lewis. This Chicken Bowl spot was the absolute best I ever had and the Korean grandma was an absolute sweetheart tried to teach me a little bit Korean as well.

The most memorable part of this place was the Teriyaki sauce. It was sweet, but not teeth aching, it was savory with hoisin, umami fermented flavor, and it wasn’t so bold and rich that overwhelmed the grilled chicken and rice combo.

It is a core memory for me and will never forget the taste of it until I die. My only regret is not buying a gallon of the stuff from them as a kid lol!!“

“We had chicharones w/yuca fries & papusas. The food was excellent! It came out fresh and hot. The chicharones were tender on the inside and crunchy on the outside, just way it should be. We've had alot of papusas over the years, and these are the best & most stuffed I ever had. (Chicharones con queso) We will be back.“

“I am a connoisseur of Mexican cuisine and my home I always fry my shells thanks to my Orpilla family but recently I have been on a crunchy taco kick and my friend showed up and brought me out to Tacoma and we had a hard time finding a place that was open because it's Easter so he took me to Mazatlan on South Tacoma Way and it is amazing in here. Right now they are giving my prior experience a run for its money this place is awesome!!“

“We went to El Toro for the first time last night and really enjoyed our dinners. I had the chicken fajita quesadilla with rice and beans and my hubby had the beef enchiladas. Both were very tasty. Their prices are fairly reasonable and they have great value lunch specials. Give them a try!!“

“We order from Yum Yum Teriyaki often and are always satisfied with their food and service. We especially like the house Yakisoba and beef broccoli, but all their food is delicious! The owners are very friendly and work hard to please. We highly recommend this restaurant!“

“Our favorite place now! My order: Unagi (nigiri), Vegetable Tempura, Teriyaki Chicken Lunch Special. Dad's oder: Teriyaki Chicken Lunch Special and 5 order of maguro to go. The unagi was the best i have had in over 10 years. The tempura was light, crunchy and flavorful. My Dad is very particular about food and I am known to order the same item over and over. “If you’re craving legit Filipino food, Paraiso Filipino Resto is worth the trip. I had the sizzling sisig, halo-halo, and a couple of combo meals, and honestly, I left happy and full. The sisig came out still sizzling (and tasting amazing), just the way it should be. The halo-halo reminded me of the ones back home — traditional, not overdone, and really good. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the flavors hit the spot. On top of that, the owner was so much fun to talk to — super friendly with great customer service. You really feel welcome here. The tteokbboki is probably some of the best I had in Lakewood and the yakisoba was so good I ate the whole plate. I came on the last day before the owner was going to close the restaurant, and it was a good meal. Sad to see samwon go though 🥹“

“This is my aunts favorite location to visit. Now I know why. We have visited three times over the last few months, and the customer service is outstanding each time! Wish I had caught the servers' names because they were on point. Each time the manager visits the table, asking how our experience was.

“Inviting, clean dining room. Good atmosphere. Attentive and speedy service. Got the udon and salmon express roll and both were excellent. Definitely want to come back to try more of the sushi. Just a really on point Japanese restaurant. Highly recommend!“

“There is only a 2$ difference between the regular and large portion. If you'd like more noodles to broth ratio, get a large. If you like more broth to noodles l, get a regular. Or just ask for extra broth for 2$ more. During the winter, there is no little heat.“

“The staff are great. They're friendly, quick, and make good quality Pizzas. Goes a long way towards justifying the expense.

The only thing I don't recommend is the new Cheesey Stuffed Crust. The cheese is a flat layer inside the crust and adds nothing flavor wise.“

“I have been eating here since the late 90’s. Their Menu has basically been the same. The Sesame Chicken portion has changed, as different owners have taken over the business, but the flavor hasn’t! (You still get the sweet little crystallized chunks in the corner of the to-go plate. IYKYK) Their Garlic Chicken Wings are also a Classic, & are a must, with their Homemade Sweet & Sour Sauce. ??“
