“Day trip to the westside, where we found this little gem in Redmond. By far, THE BEST Indian Pakistani food we have ever had. With every bite, we could taste how much care & love went into preparing their authentic ingredients. I could have ordered every item on their menu, but decided on lamb korma with pulao rice, chicken korma & samosa. It was plenty for us to share. We met both the owner & chef. They were so kind & grateful we visited. Absolutely magnificent! #FoodyMoody“

“We were visiting Seattle from New York, so we searched on Google and found the best reviews of Shahana Steakhouse. We decided to stop by for the Ramadan Buffet (we visited a couple more restaurants in Seattle), so the best Iftar buffet and the out-of-class service in the Seattle area is here, with excellent customer service and a perfectly managed buffet. I noticed they were crazy busy on weekdays. The restaurant was full of people, and there was a long line; the staff served dates in the line and continued filling the dishes with food, even for families that were joining very late. Everything was fresh and warm, including their delicious pizza, fried chicken, and tikka boti. I loved Shahi Tukray; you must try it if you are there for a buffet. They even served the food at the tables for the customers who came in later. They came to us twice at our table to serve the food. Everything was very well set up, and there was fantastic management. I am going there for suhoor/breakfast and will let you all know about the homemade parathas and omelets. Stay tuned.“

“Stopped by Zain Restaurant & Bakery Cafe for dinner and was genuinely impressed with both the food and the bakery. I ordered a mixed grill platter, and everything came out fresh, tender, and full of flavor. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the warm, freshly baked bread was easily one of the highlights of the meal. We couldn't leave without trying a few pastries, and they were light, flaky, and just the right amount of sweet. The staff were incredibly welcoming and happy to answer questions about the menu, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere is clean, relaxed, and perfect for enjoying a meal without feeling rushed. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu and pick up a few more baked treats.“

“Overall pizza is made fresh, with a nice golden crust and the toppings are always fresh and flavorful. Manager and staff are very friendly and personable. I want to give a special shout out to the wife (Rokiyah) of the owner. she is very humble and very accommodating with the last-minute orders. You will not regret ordering at this pizza place. However, the true pièce de résistance was the heavenly honey and cream, perfectly paired with crusty bread - a flavor combination that bordered on sublime. “The food is delicious . Everything is made with pride . It’s all fresh and made in house . Since it’s fresh and made to order , you will have to wait . It is worth it . I highly recommend the Greek french fries , amazing. Also I would not skip the chai tea or baklava, both so good. Friendly family business that appreciates its customers. The only thing I did not like was not their fault . Customers constantly talking loudly on cell phone , incredibly annoying ringers going off from multiple phones, some very loud voices . It’s a tiny place with close tables so hear everything. It has lovely lighting from beautiful lamps and is nicely decorated. I just wish some of the customers more considerate .“

“My wife and I wanted to experience Somali food for the first time. We had only heard good things about East African cuisine on social media so we decided to see for ourselves.

The food was amazing and absolutely delicious. Considering the quality and flavor, the prices were very reasonable. We were really impressed by the food and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

One thing you should keep in mind is that the restaurant can get crowded during peak hours, so you may have to wait a little longer for your food. Other than that, it’s absolutely worth it. This is a must-visit for anyone who wants to experience authentic Somali cuisine.“

“I happened upon this food truck by luck. I had never tried Somalia cuisine before, and was curious First I was greated by friendly smiling faces that made me feel immediately welcomed. They handed me a menu, with pictures, that I could look at without staring at the menu board. I decided on a Sambusa as an appetizer because it looked and sounded like a Samosa. My entree was a Bariis chicken bowl with a side salad. It was fabulous! The Sambusa was shaped like a Samosa, but different. The pastry was delicate like a puff pastry and the filling was simple lean ground beef, served with mild or spicy dipping sauce. The Bariis chicken bowl was flavorful, fresh and full of flavor. Perfectly balanced. I will look for this food truck again.“

“Today was our first time visiting Seattle and we were craving some Indian food. Taste of Indian did NOT disappoint me. The Tikka masala and naan were phenomenal. The service was also amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere was also very relaxed and welcoming. I was given a complimentary refill of my reisling and they also give you a little slice of cheesecake at the end of your meal. “The food is ok. Nothing extra ordinary, but its really difficult for me to understand why they add 18% tips by default. Even for group of 4 or just one person for that matter. Price of food really on higher side with minimum quantity. Another thing is you cant split a bill. So on one table they only accept one credit card. This place is not for celebrating with friends for that reason.“

“Restaurants in Seattle area are on a whole another level. There's atleast 20 places offering buffet alone. Each competing with the other to offer you the best. Today I went to Biryani Palace in Bellevue and my experience was no different. The ambience is great. There are two sections with veg and non veg on either sides offering a host of dishes. I tried karampudi chicken, shola kabab, mutton pepper fry, amravati chicken curry, hyderabadi biryani and some methi chaman and pav bhaji masala. For desserts I tried the mango fruit salad. All the meats are halal and for $12.99 per person you get some great food with friendly customer service who restock often and treat you like a king.“
