Parkway Tavern checks all the boxes — great beer selection, delicious food, good music, and a really cool neighborhood atmosphere. It's tucked right into the middle of a residential neighborhood and feels like a true local spot.

The French dip was excellent. The roast beef was perfectly grilled, flavorful and tender, and the sandwich was really well done.

Bonus - the bathrooms were super clean!

The menu is extensive but not overwhelming and Tina made great suggestions. We ended up getting the garlic cheese curds to start which were some of the best I’ve had - super fresh tasting and great seasoning. I got a Philly cheesesteak wrap with a spinach tortilla and tots - a ton of flavor, ton of food, ton of reason to come back as soon as possible.

“My friend introduced me to this place yesterday. I never thought in a million years I’d like dipping chips (homemade too) in garlic ranch dressing, but it was delicious. Their French Dip with au jus was scrumptious as well; almost as good as having one in NY. Also, they have awesome garlic fries, they use fresh minced garlic. They even make their mozzarella sticks from scratch. Thanks to my friend, I’ll definitely have to take my family here, yum! 🙉 We had an awesome waitress, very attentive. I guess if you’re a first timer, they let you try their homemade chips for free; it was nice of her to tell me that. “Never have I ever been charged $3.50 for a screwdriver because omg I’ve paid at LEAST $6 anywhere else. I was so delighted I tipped $3 on one drink!! Strong drinks, good vibes, if you are a young woman though, don’t go in alone unless you’re okay with getting hit on by the wonderfully ancient regulars.❤️ My boyfriend and I will definitely be going again.“

“I got a Cheesesteak here and am from an hour away from Philly and it was good and I'm a big critic and expert on such things. The bartender I bought it from was nice and pretty hot too not going to lie. The owner is a weird man though who basically was acting like fixing a broken down car is against the law and like he needed to call the police because I was having a hard time with it so I just pushed it to a different place and finished it there. Not going to factor that into this review or I'd give it 1 star instead of 5.“

“My grandpa used 2 take us here for br re aghast some 35 years ago. But I had such a good time last night dping some karaoke with my friends for his berfday. We addressed a situation to him and he handled it immediately. Joe also prevented another incident from occurring later in the night. He was very situationally aware and would respond quickly and effectively.
We would’ve left if not for his involvement and professionalism.
