“My husband and I had a late lunch here. I ordered Carne en Su Jugo, and he ordered Carne Asada. And oh my goodness, was it delicious. It was cooked perfectly with all the right spices. We had a couple of cocktails and they were delicious! Friendly and welcoming environment. Can't wait to go back! :)“

“I was told about this place by a buddy of mine from California. I am from California as well. I have never had a better burrito in my entire life. I love food. I love cooking food. This place has the juiciest, most flavorful steak on the planet. Take your tastebuds on a date and be sure to stop by for any one of their amazing menu items, you won't be sorry!“

“The food is excellent. The restaurant is beautiful. And they had a friendly staff. I knocked a star because it's hard to find. We ended up going into the parking garage that they share with an apartment building and it's in the back. Also I over payed for my meal. I got the chiliaqueles but it cost an extra $8 for the steak and $3 to add an egg. It ended up being about $27 and it wasn't worth that price tag when I could have gotten tacos for $14. The food is pretty fairly priced and delicious and the cocktails were amazing. We will be back.“

I keep going back, even though I never remember the loyalty card. The K&J does not have the most… luxurious of parking lots. So, try to catch this place while the sun’s up.“

“I lived in Mexico 29 years and this is the best Mexican place in Tacoma. Funny this rating asked for atmosphere and a bunch of other things that just don't apply to this place. It's not about the atmosphere, you can dine in and I have, which is no problem, but the best thing is to get take out and be gone. A lot of times there's a line because everyone knows what a great place this is. Best to call ahead if you know their menu and just pick it up, the food is extraordinary.“

“Best chicken taco plate there is in Auburn, I got 1 beef and 1 chicken, they were authentic in every way and not too spicy for my white ass! They gave us plenty of different sauces to use on our tacos amd it comes with rice and beans.I will definitely be going back, the construction right out front is confusing but if your heading up the hill it's just before California Burrito on the left. Like I said I will 💯 be going back and trying different things!!! So yummy!“

“Honestly I have had some terrible Mexican to-go food from other restaurants but this is NOT the case here. I got breakfast which can be a gamble but my eggs were cooked perfectly, everything was hot when I got to my house. The chilaquiles were not mushy. Everything was PERFECT. 5 stars. “I finally found good Mexican food that’s authentic in federal way. I found them while it was walking with Siri and I got their tamales that are Rajas with queso OMG They were so incredibly good. I give up buying tamales quite a while ago because I couldn’t find any good ones. They have great ones and they Agua is awesome. I can’t wait to go back for a torta ahogada!! I haven’t had one since I was in GDL!! Check them out they close a little early. She said 7 PM. They are so good.!!“

God bless the cooks—I don’t know who they were, but I think it might have been Marcos’s parents? If so, he is beyond lucky to have grown up on food that good. No wonder he opened a restaurant! If I had meals like that growing up, I’d have opened one too! The drinks? So good. Affordable, strong, and just right. Definitely not watered down like some places. And the vibe? A whole vibe. It was my first time there, and I was blown away. There was a DJ in the back, the energy was great, and the place started getting packed. I just wish they had more seating because it’s definitely a popular spot! If you haven’t been to Marcos Cantina yet, you need to pull up!
