50 Best Craft Breweries near Mountlake Terrace

Hemlock State Brewing Co. Brewery • $
23601 56th Ave W Suite 400, Mountlake Terrace

“Came here about 20 min before close on Saturday. Asked if my friends and I could grab a quick beer and get out of there (bartenders have lives too). Bartender was super friendly and accommodating. I hadn't been before as I don't live in the area and got some samples of beers I might enjoy before making a decision. Honestly one of the best interactions I've had with service staff in a while. Really appreciated it. The beer was great too!“

“Ravenna Brewery is an awesome place to hang out! 🍺 Great selection of delicious craft beers, super chill vibe, and a spacious outdoor patio where you can actually relax — hardly any traffic passing by. There’s even a food truck nearby with amazing BBQ, sausages, and pork — perfect combo with the beer. Excellent atmosphere, friendly people, and totally worth checking out. Highly recommend! 👌“

Dirty Couch Brewing Brewery • $$
2715 W Fort St, Seattle - 9.59 miles

“One of my favorite seattle breweries! Great complex sours ranging from mild to lip puckering tart (although this is coming from a sour sensitive palate FYI), as well as stouts, ipas, braggots and more! Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Seattle area who enjoys beers. It's definitely worth the visit! My standouts (as of June 2025) include smoke show, rampart sour red, armchair philosopher, and Peter Peter pear eater.“

Obec Brewing Brewery • $
1144 NW 52nd St, Seattle - 8.91 miles

“I'm on the board of a community organization that held our annual event at Obec this year and our group had such a fun time. Wayne and the bartender staff all did a fantastic job making sure we were well taken care of. Our small event planning team mostly got to just relax and enjoy gathering with our community after we were done with our very easy set up. Stacey, who oversaw the planning for the event, was a delight to work with in helping us organize, answering all of our questions, ensuring everything was tracked, and even helping us coordinate a food vendor that served delicious tacos made on-site.

Also, I just really love this space... the giant Art Nouveau style mural on the outside of the building, the twinkle lights on the barrels in the event space, the secret door between the main bar and Side Pull Lounge with a library of vinyl record albums, and the lighting and wall decorations all make this place feel like it's thoughtfully put together and loved without being overly stiff.

We will definitely be back.“

Fair Isle Brewing Brewery • $$
936 NW 49th St, Seattle - 9 miles

“fair isle has rapidly become my go to brewery since they opened. a little off the beaten path means it doesn't get nearly as loud and "bro-tastic" as the other Ballard breweries. the beer itself is excellent and their experimental nature means their is always something new to try. the occasional food is always tasty. overall, fair isle is my favorite of all the Ballard breweries; a well hidden secret that I hate to share.“

Ladd & Lass Brewing Brewery • $$
722 NE 45th St, Seattle - 8.77 miles

“Love this spot! Super chill neighborhood brewery with a great variety of beers. 🍻 Trivia night on Thursdays is always a blast, and happy hour (3–5pm) is a solid deal. They sell their beer in cans too, which is perfect for taking home.

Sometimes you’ll catch a food truck out front, but they’re cool with you bringing your own food as well. It’s a cozy, couple-owned place with an awesome community vibe. Definitely one of my go-to breweries!“

Flying Bike Cooperative Brewery Brewery • $
8570 Greenwood Ave N, Seattle - 6.98 miles

“Great place to put the kick stand down for a few!
Be sure to get the story behind the co-op idea and name (initially they thought the concept would work like a Flying Bike 🤣)!
Friendly service, laid back vibes, and the hazy was crisp and fresh. Just won a medal for their porter too, but wasn’t in the mood.
Love how they develop and select their offerings…maybe co-ops can lift off, if’n you pedal hard enough!“

Savage Brewing Company Brewery • $$
12815 NE 124th St I, Kirkland - 8.42 miles

“Good beer selection. Has good IPAs, low on bitterness, rich on flavor, somewhat hoppy, are refreshing in taste and have fruity/citrusy notes. Tried Plethora, Never Say Die, 99 Juicy and Blood Orange along with Helles Lager. Ambience is somewhat rustic and really relaxing with good music in the background. The location is within city limits too. Staff is very excellent, really hospitable, very friendly, takes time to explain, allows you to try different ones and clearly values you as a customer. Must try for so many reasons.“

“Great little local ‘small batch’ microbrewery. I had the ‘Queen Anne's Revenge’ (IPA) and the ‘Boathouse Wit’ (Belgian-style witbier), both were excellent. They also have a stand at Magnolia’s Farmers Market Saturday’s. Hadn’t tried the food yet. I will be going back. Dog friendly. Parking is tight on weekends so you probably will park on the street.
Please remember to not drink & drive!“

“A consistently good, but rarely exceptional brewery. Perhaps my expectations are too high due to the history, head brewer, etc for this brewery, but I was expecting some truly fantastic IPAs. While all of the IPAs on tap were definitely above average, nothing blew us away in the way we hoped. Cloudburst definitely knows what they are doing, though. I expect them to be a pillar of Seattle brewing for the foreseeable future. Staff was fine, but not particularly friendly or knowledgeable. While we went in the middle of winter, it was approximately the same temperature inside as it was outside as well. There are a few kinks to work out as far as service goes.“

Brewery is extremely clean and the bartender was extremely friendly and gave plenty of recommendations on what to try And what he recommended all of the beers were unique and very flavorful, including the barley wines, which sometimes can be a little overwhelming. Parking is awful. they used to open up the patio area for parking during the winter. postdoc has not done this despite the fact that nobody wants a beer outside when it's raining or snowing. great place though to hang out. kid and dog friendly. The enviroment is classic beer garden with that Seattle twist, picnic benches, flora, and food trucks. Yes, you must pair your drink with some edible sustenance, not required but I suggest it. It's a casual affair, so bring a friend or two or three, find some seating, and kick back and relax, good times await. That inner child you've been seeking to discover has just been tapped. Lisa was very helpful, she showed us the space before we booked and answered all our questions. They offered a great variety of beers, ciders, and N/A options. We used the projector screen, and mic, and my family went nuts with decorating the barrels, super fun! We highly recommend Reuben's Barrel House for private parties/events!“

“Ok I have been really wanting to try this place for years now and we finally went in. Food was tasty, the fish and chips would have been recommended because they were decent pieces , however if they weren't burnt on areas, I think they would be amazing. Foodie tip, their tartar sauce was delicious, and the if you mixed it with the Cole slaw with the tartar... yummy. Like the Old Long John's Silver recipe. Nachos were ample with really good flavors Liked like a decent size burger, but very tasty fries. Tasted the light beers, including the Mexican version 😋 Honesty, better than some brewery versions. Would like to go again and see if those fish could be done better. The service was decent, nice guys who ended up going the extra mile for a missed item. 👍🏼 Definitely worth going back. Like I said, the only downer was the burnt fish, but they still Taste good.“
