“This is a hidden gem to South Seattle (West Hill) Community. Street parking is available. Fresh brewed coffee imported coffee from Ethiopia! Never too crowded and IF you’re ever looking for a meeting space, I think the business are able to facilitate.“

“This place is incredible!!! Tiny with a huge selection and character. It’s so fun to see them make the whole food (fruit and veg) juices. I only got a coffee but I was surprised to see they even have a cocktail menu. I’ll be back for sure!“

“Shawn’s bakery is simply the best! Mouthwatering sandwiches, soups and don’t get me started on his pretzel roles. The Artichoke and Pesto sandwich is amazing and the Fig sandwich is over the top! Thank you Shawn for delighting our taste buds.“

“There is something special about this place, I love the atmosphere, the place is quit, clean, the staff is super friendly. There are many food options. The location is perfect almost near everything. The coffee is not my favorite, but this is where I can only focus and finish my work peacefully.“

“Visited for first time, August 29 2024. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Ordered the fruity French toast. 3 big thick slices of bread, with fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream The bread only had egg wash on one side, as if they poured the egg on the flattop and set the bread on it, As these were thick slices, the rest of it was just dry bread. Not what we expected. We thought it would be dipped and covered in egg. The silverware is the basic stamped out cafeteria style utensils and takes away from the overall experience of this otherwise homey ambience.“

“No complaints about their food or service. The only downside is parking. We were lucky to find a parking spot right in front of the place on a Wednesday afternoon. Tried the seasonal specials roll cake. Absolutely amazing. Right amount of sweetness, nice presentation, and the mochi in the middle definitely added some more layers.“

“Spacious fun place. I like the counter decor with the old school sandwich board and physical letters/numbers. Coffee was good, love it can get it in glass mug. Not exactly my flavor profile. Breakfast sandwich was very high quality. Baked good we tried was good. I liked this place, just felt like they were trying to do a little too much. Showed up in decor, food and drink choices. Worth a try, they have some different specialty drinks.“

“Decent coffee joint in the heart of kirkland.
We got two hot beverages. Was decent not the best.
Order was messed up in the first attempt but was quickly replaced.
The food options were limited as well but looked good.
Recommend this place if you are in the neighborhood“

“Got the seasonal Sweater Weather (matcha latte w/ maple spice & white chocolate) and some blistered shishito peppers. The drink was great. Flavor on the peppers and the aioli sauce was great but texture was on the soggy side - that said I'd still order it again. Cafe was on the empty side (Friday @ 2:30pm) so the vibe was relaxing. Will definitely be back to try more of the food options.“

“This has been my current favorite new spot to eat at, SOUFend Cafe. The name itself was already catchy, but I heard about this place from seeing posts of their banh uot tower and it reminded me of this one place I went to in Vietnam. You MUST try it; it's a tower of steamed rice roll sheets that you have a selection of protein to choose from, mixed with fresh herbs and veggies, roll it all up and dip in fish sauce. Oh. My. God. Yum!
We also ordered their bun mam dau which is a variety of meats, tofu, noodles, and fresh herbs to dip in a pungent shrimp paste sauce. I guess I'm not a true Viet, the shrimp paste was too strong for me so I opt out for fish sauce instead. I'm looking forward to coming back to try more things on the menu. They have really early hours and actually serve a full menu all day.“

“We went for Sunday morning brunch and had an almond latte with a Nutella banana crepe. The latte was really good, and we enjoyed the café’s atmosphere. However, seating is limited—it’s crowded, with hardly any space to sit and relax.“

“This place is a great place to eat at after taking my daughter to the library across the street. And so easy if you have toddlers. I sit my two-year old on the bench and pull the table a little closer to her, and it's perfect. The owner is really nice and brings her stickers.
Food and coffee are delicious. The chicken salad with miso dressing is really good. Even my two-year-old approves.“

“The bubble tea here is fantastic, especially their fresh milk options made with real tea – they’re consistently the best in the area, in my opinion. I’d also highly recommend their snacks; the popcorn chicken and small bentos are delicious.“

“What an adorable little coffee shop. Originally went needing a simple breakfast and got an everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. It’s one of the better west coast bagels this East coaster has had. The woman who owns and runs the little stand is so nice and helpful. She picked flavors for my coffee drinks and they were so good. It was such a lovely experience that I went back the next morning. This time I got a breakfast burrito and muffin with a latte. And this combo is highly recommended. The burrito is small but very filling. I will just say that it is drive through only and if there is a line can get a tad dicey with how cars are lined up. But I highly recommend stopping by if you are near.“
“Phenomenal customer service and experience, i wanted to switch a drink because i didn’t like the flavor and they also offered me a free drinks, very great customer service training and policy, drinks also taste really good and flavorful, 10/10 recommendation“

“Delicious sandwiches, I am in love with my Turkey Rueben on GF bread also love Madison Special - so good. They have the 'no contact' pick up logistics mastered, it is apparent they're taking it very seriously which I appreciate. I order ahead online (from my phone) and then there is literally no wait for my lunch. Highly recommend. 💙 Madison Park in the summer is a great place to sit outside for lunch. PS. Arguably the best Caesar salad in Seattle!“

“Great food and service, but the parking situation is an absolute garbage fire. I'd be happy if they closed their cafe at this location and moved it somewhere close by with better parking. Every time I come here the parking lot is full of people double parked, even though the cafe barely has anyone in it.“

“This post deserves a SHARE and it’s public! I ventured out to Creamy Cone Cafe (a Black owned small business) for the first time today. The post about the grilled cheese on croissant bread with tomato soup got me. As soon as I walked in I wanted everything!!!! I started with ALL 12 of the flavors currently on hand, the grilled cheese w/soup, the peach cobbler à la mode and a brown sugar cookie that never made it home. My favorite flavors were Strawberry Shortcake, Banana Pudding, Mint Mud pie and Lemon Raspberry Cheesecake. None of the flavors were displeasing and ALL of them I would order again. I love that you can taste the individual ingredients in the ice cream it’s self. You can absolutely tell these flavors are made with real fruit!! There was a vegan flavor and a non-dairy flavor that was tasty, something for everyone!!! I will be back often. I did want to point out, just because parking isn’t the greatest doesn’t mean don’t stop in. When you walk through the door it feels like family! Also, they have gift certificates. A win win!!! I’ll be buying some to give to people so they can experience the greatness as well. The list of current flavors are in the photos.“

“I was impressed by Zain Restaurant's delicious cuisine, generous portions, reasonable prices and delicious food. Yesterday I stopped after hearing from friends and coworkers about Zain restaurant. The food was flavorful but also quite filling, making the short 10-minute wait well worth it. The location itself very convenient if you work at SeaTac airport or work at the airport rental car facility on 160th st. The food hands down the best and the place is very clean. Thank you Abdi. 🙏“

“First time trying GB. It’s super hot out, especially during the summer and I was stuck on traffic. When I look to my right I saw this little Drive thru and went to check it out. The wonderful lady that recommended me getting the Horchata Milk Shake. Best milkshake ever! Definitely a must try! GB, you just found you a regular now! 🍾🎊“

“Waterleaf has a great chef who really knows how to prepare delicious and interesting meals. On the night we were there the Seahawks were playing and the staff seemed distracted, so service was sometimes slow. But our family had a great time, and ended up catching the tail end of a very exciting game. The steelhead and the risotto were especially good. We will be back.“

“Not enough reviews for this place so here I go. Wonderful customer service, delicious coffee, and great breakfast sandwiches. Plus a cute spot overall. Too many cafes in the area don’t open early enough and this place was what my family and I needed while on vacation. Sadly my kids didn’t like the hot chocolate (they had a nutty flavor) but my husband and I thought those too were super good. Ended up going twice during our short stay. So many great sounding menu items and all the chocolates looked incredible.“

“We love this neighborhood spot! Amazing food and great wine & cocktails. Above all, the staff are so welcoming and great. I highly recommend their dinner service and their happy hour (currently 3-5). Recommendations: any of their specials, their (vegetarian) lasagna, chicken pot pie, savory cheesecake, all the apps. They also have a wine club you can look up on their website. Definitely recommend this place for a date, after work to wait for traffic to die down, a special occasion or family meal. They have some cute outdoor seating and are family friendly. I would recommend reservations or at least looking but they also have a small bar you can sit at. On weekends I recommend a reservation as they are in a smaller space (don't let the location across from the Newcastle library in the shopping plaza fool you-this is a great gem). You will feel comfortable as you are, or dressed up here too. The friendly owner is often around to welcome you and make sure you are having a great experience! Parking is easy, it's friendly to persons with a disability, and there are vegetarian options. I am sure you can ask about other dietary restrictions. They have a great vibe and lovely art.“
