“Shawn’s bakery is simply the best! Mouthwatering sandwiches, soups and don’t get me started on his pretzel roles. The Artichoke and Pesto sandwich is amazing and the Fig sandwich is over the top! Thank you Shawn for delighting our taste buds.“

“Best juice and smoothie spot in Seattle! Hoping they open more brick and mortar locations. I'm a frequent visitor at the location on cherry and in the municipal building. Good seating options outside the cherry location and a few small tables inside. They have a service window outside making it easy to wait outside for your order.“

“Visited for first time, August 29 2024. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Ordered the fruity French toast. 3 big thick slices of bread, with fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream The bread only had egg wash on one side, as if they poured the egg on the flattop and set the bread on it, As these were thick slices, the rest of it was just dry bread. Not what we expected. We thought it would be dipped and covered in egg. The silverware is the basic stamped out cafeteria style utensils and takes away from the overall experience of this otherwise homey ambience.“

“This place offers a rare Latin breakfast menu item called Migas and oh man is it good. The wait staff are all friendly and your cup is never empty. The atmosphere is like a cozy small diner/family kitchen and it is relaxing and laid back. And as a rare tea drinker, I can say that while they charge the same as other places for tea, they serve super high quality English breakfast tea, which was delightful. I AM SO GLAD THEY ARE BACK in Issaquah!!“

“Great place! 5 stars - only thing that was weird about today (and maybe it was just me) it was exceptionally hot inside the store today 😆. It was cooler outside than in the store which made it hard to focus. I was wearing shorts so I kept sticking to the chair. Other than that, amazing vibe.“

“A welcome addition to the South Seattle restaurant scene. Pho was delicious and generously proportioned; my partner was pleased with her fried rice. It took longer than expected to take our order, but then our meal arrived so fast I didn't even have time to enter the WiFi password. Nice bright setting was much improved when the rude parents who failed to quiet their screeching toddler finally left.“

“I was staying with a friend in Seattle for five days and I got the London Fog every. Single. Day.
You order on a machine at the front but somehow they still bring it to you? The people who work there must be psychic.
Caveat: on four of the five days there was a woman working there, and both the London Fogs and the music were great. On the last day there was a guy and both the London Fog and music were just… ok. I don’t know how you get appreciable difference in London Fogs… it’s just tea and steamed milk. Maybe he added too much water? Is there a correlation between music taste and being able to make really good London Fogs? Mysteries abound.
Anyways, if you’re the lady with long wavy brown hair working at Jack Sprat: good job!“

“This coffee shop is an absolute gem! The moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee hits you—in the best way. Their coffee is truly exceptional: rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced every single time. If you’re a coffee lover, this place will spoil you forever.
And the Dubai crepe? Wow. It’s a must-try! Light, warm, and filled with the most delicious flavors—sweet, indulgent, and unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere. It pairs perfectly with their coffee and honestly deserves its own fan club.
The service is friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and everything they make feels crafted with care. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing coffee and a standout Dubai crepe!“

“The woman who works weekday mornings always brightens our day and makes an excellent coffee! She remembered mine and my partners go-to orders after the 2nd day we went, and even if we don’t go back for a week or so, she always remembers us!! It is my favorite spot in the area!“

“Spacious fun place. I like the counter decor with the old school sandwich board and physical letters/numbers. Coffee was good, love it can get it in glass mug. Not exactly my flavor profile. Breakfast sandwich was very high quality. Baked good we tried was good. I liked this place, just felt like they were trying to do a little too much. Showed up in decor, food and drink choices. Worth a try, they have some different specialty drinks.“

“This trip was not founded on joy whatsoever. HOWEVER, by the end of it, surely it was Let me explain...
I'll be honest... I accidentally took the wrong turn in Seattle and took the 520 toll bridge LOL!!! I thought, eh, I'm already going to Bellevue, let's get some matcha. I chose Café Joy as I knew there would be plentiful public library parking. FWIW, I used to work in Bellevue so I know all of the best parking areas
Anyway, I visited on a very sunny Saturday early afternoon. The doors were open, revealing an already pretty packed establishment. Albeit, ample room for some to study or catch up with a friend. The menu was filled with many eye-catching items. I noticed they had a corn latte, so I asked the worker if it was possible to do a that with matcha instead of coffee. He suggested I order a regular matcha latte (sweetened) and then he'd add corn cold foam. Good idea! He did a really great job making the drink-- the color itself was vibrant and the taste was refreshing... most importantly, not too sweet
~**. BTW, if you think corn in any type of drink is weird... whateva, you're missing out!! .**~
I'd definitely recommend this place-- next time it won't be on the whim of taking the wrong exit LOL!!
TLDR; Helpful and accommodating staff. Tasty drinks. Parking across the street. Not sponsored.“

“all we got was the matcha ice cream and the black sesame and they were amazing! $5 for a large scoop that you could split between 2. If you love matcha definitely get the matcha ice cream but if you want to try something new i definitely recommend the black sesame ice cream!“

“This review is based on take out! I recommend you call ahead if you're interested in the Xinjiang Baked bread below as they may sold out end of the day. The staff were very polite as well, I read from other reviews it is under new management. The other dish was Xinjiang hand pulled rice (unfortunately I already ate half of it before taking the photos 😂 - it is good portion!). They have other dishes I'll have to come back and try, but these are popular recently.
Both dishes are cumin-forward and I love cumin, so I think they're flavorful. The lamb was prepared excellently as there was no gamey smell to it. The rice comes with chickpeas and also pickled/oily carrots (not pictured) which were very tasty with the rice.
The meat filling in the bread was really good, and the pastry was soft and filling. I do think it's a bit thicker than I'm used to, but I never really had Xinjiang food so you can disregard me on that.
Overall I will be visiting again, definitely plus points to the polite waitress and waiter, even giving me suggestions on how to reheat for optimum taste!“

“Regular client here. Great service and nice, authentic Eastern European food — Russian, Ukrainian, Caucasian, etc. I have to note that the staff are polite and friendly, make very good coffee, and always give helpful advice about the menu. There’s also a good selection of not overly sweet desserts.“

They have the 'no contact' pick up logistics mastered, it is apparent they're taking it very seriously which I appreciate. I order ahead online (from my phone) and then there is literally no wait for my lunch. Highly recommend. 💙 Madison Park in the summer is a great place to sit outside for lunch. PS. Arguably the best Caesar salad in Seattle!“

“This busy coffee shop and bakery is located in a warehouse and office park. I had a good egg brioche sandwich and because I don’t drink coffee, I ordered a Coke. In this case, it was one from Mexico that made with cane sugar.\n\nThere’s a nice patio out front to just sit and relax. It’s also surrounded by greenery and relatively quiet. \n\nWould I make a special trip to go to this one? No, but if I’m looking for a spot in the area like we were, I would definitely stop here.“

“Our 1st time there, we went with our kids and the food did not disappoint! It was packed with flavor and freshness. The chicken tenders were big and juicy, we also got chapati wrap yummy goodness like mom’s cooking! Spaghetti for little ones and basically there was a dish for every age at the table.“
“Waterleaf has a great chef who really knows how to prepare delicious and interesting meals. On the night we were there the Seahawks were playing and the staff seemed distracted, so service was sometimes slow. But our family had a great time, and ended up catching the tail end of a very exciting game. The steelhead and the risotto were especially good. We will be back.“

“I was looking for a brunch place to take and impress an out-of-state visiting sibling. She suggested Jollibee 🥴, but I insisted on this place. I love Neighborhood Cafe with its unique and tasty dining experience, combining tiered Filipino breakfast with Vietnamese-Filipino coffee flights. Happy to report that my sibling is impressed and my other out-of-state siblings well, jealous of our meals. Please open a branch up north, specifically in Lynnwood or anywhere close to PAE.🙏🏻“

“My favorite restaurant! We love The Coalman, the food is fantastic, the people are great and the ambience is amazing. If you're looking for somewhere that offers food on another level, an excellent wine selection (they even have a wine club) and just a great place to be, this is it. Best of all, it's reasonably priced!“
