“Part of my job is to order catering for sales events. I usually use a catering website to place these orders remotely. This particular site unfortunately could not provide any restaurants that would deliver to necessary location. I ended up finding Noe Jose Cafe and contacted them directly in hopes they would be able to assist and so glad that I did! I spoke with The Jose himself and he was so very helpful! He was able to work with me on all the logistics, needed supplies and the delivery! I received calls and texts for any updates on my order, which was so appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised by how much support they were willing to offer and couldn't thank them enough! Everyone really enjoyed the food and everything went so well! Thank you Jose and team!!!“

“Mai Thai is our go-to for Thai food. We chose it over Naung Mai in Oak Harbor initially because of the price difference, but the portions are bigger and there's more of your chosen meat/protein in the soups and entrees. That said- be aware you have to LIKE SPICE. Recently it has been difficult to get "spice 1", which should just be a hint. If you say "no spice", it's OK, but not Thai, right? But if there's a difference between 1 and 4, I can't tell. Our Pho soup tonight (spice 1) was burning our throats. The pad thai was OK at spice 1, but still quite a bit spicier than I would assume 1 would be. This is a new development for this restaurant, so it is probably a new chef. Just BE AWARE. Anyway, most people complain the food in the PNW is too bland, so you won't have that problem, at least! And as far as ordering, we use the online app. Add five mins to the time it says your pick up is ready. It is never ready. Door Dashers use this place constantly, and they clog the order process. There is indoor dining, but we have never used it, thanks to Covid protocols. Also- a final word on parking. The parking lot has been sectioned off from looping through the driver's ed school next door. Therefore the lot is super tough to turn and get out. You are better off parking along the strip by the salon to the left of the restaurant and walking up. Please be careful in this area of town at night.“

“Came in on a Friday afternoon (not advertised as being open on Fridays) and the food was bomb! Among all of us we got the jerk shrimp, jerk chicken, chicken curry, plantains, cabbage, and mac n cheese - all were good. Only critique is that the jollof wasn’t great, not worth the extra $2.50 charge. Otherwise 5 stars!“

“If you are in, near or going to Oak Harbor, WA and are a lover or even just a liker of bbq, Orlando’s Southern BBQ is very much worth the stop! These folks know how to BBQ ! First of all, they are so friendly and welcoming you can just feel the southern hospitality and how proud they are to serve their fabulous food! We each had the brisket and it was the very best we have EVER had! It literally melted in our mouths. The baked beans with their slight kick were A-mazing and the coleslaw was so incredibly fresh and moist. This place is quite large and they have a full bar with entertainment on the weekends. We give Orlando’s Southern BBQ in Oak Harbor WA a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 rating hands down!!“

“My family and I have been here a few times now, always for breakfast before today. Today we had lunch there. For months I have been looking for a great cheeseburger. Down on the south end, Bailey's Corner makes one of the absolutely greatest cheeseburgers on the planet. I've tried so many other places on the island and have been disappointed. Today we went to the Riverside Café and had one of the best cheeseburgers with fries I have ever had.

I finally found a place that will cook my hamburger rare or medium rare and not turn it into a hockey puck. The cook at Riverside Café today did a great job. The bun was great, the produce was great, and most importantly, the cook cooked quality beef to exactly the right medium-rare level.

But.... The real star of the show were the hand-cut french fries. These were literally the best french fries I've ever had anywhere in my life. They are unbelievably thick and cooked perfectly. I'm sure they are double-fried or they wouldn't be this perfect.

The service was also amazing. The young lady who took our order was a joy to be around.“

“The food here is delicious, prepared in a timely, friendly manner and the staff in this family owned restaurant are friendly and personable. The prices are very affordable. I get the veggie gyros and my partner gets the lamb gyros.
They put a lot of ingredients in so if you are eating in a car or on the run use a plate under the foil wrapped gyros and have napkins ready too!

“Customer service is a lost trait in this world. Dale, at China City, Oak Harbor is the bomb. I can’t say enough about the service she offers! Very attentive, very professional and personable! There were 4 of us, she took our order without writing anything down and it came out perfect. We even ordered extra items and she didn’t miss a thing. We didn’t have to wait or ask a second time. Our food came out hot and delicious. She was fun and funny. Many of times I have walked away from a bad experience but not here! Dale is awesome! She is a true gem!

Great service from a cute new employee who took great care of us. As well as the staff who took care of our meal. It was so good and we were so appreciative.
