I don't know how he makes the tastiest scones we've ever had, but he manages to make them Gluten-Free and sometimes even Vegan.

His bakery is a dedicated GF facility...he also serves other items in addition to scones, you need to check out this jewel of a business!“

“A unique pop up bar that has up to 24 taps or less for smaller events it appears. The truck has taken credit for all my visits so no need for cash. assortments from pils to barrel age. If you see it out, you should stop here“

“Food A+ perfectly cooked generous 12oz NY steak & Blackened rockfish! Flavor excellent on all sides. Server A+, this was our first visit and Victoria helped with all our questions like family. After ordering the wait for food was long but we were in no hurry. It would have been nice to have something to nibble on. We hadn’t expected the wait so we didn’t order bread or salad, everything is extra. The place could use something acoustic to cut the noise a notch, simply voices overwhelm the place. Music from the venue next door wasn’t a distraction, it was fine. Parking can be difficult. All in all, we will be back for the A+ parts make it way worth the visit.“

“Just visited tonight and as always, loved the food and service! Super sweet waitresses and delicious food. I ordered the beef teriyaki bento box and a plate of crab rangoons. My friend ordered the beef bulgolgi. We were both surprised at the fast service and generous portions. “This tavern is a gem. The food is cooked with care and you can tell when you get it. The brussel sprouts are a huge hit at any time. I tried a "special" called the CodFather yesterday with a hand battered piece of cod, topped with fresh sliced pastrami and some cheese on a slathering of coleslaw on a bun. It absolutely works!“

I went in yesterday because I’ve been having a rough couple of days and decided I wanted a treat. The guy taking my order asks me how I was doing and I responded how I was having a rough time. He was incredibly kind. Normally I don’t really talk like that but yesterday I decided to be honest. I go to pay and he tells me he is covering it. I have a hard time deciding what to order because so many things “speak to me” on the menu. And I’m vegetarian!😁 I heard they are starting a dosa menu soon! “The food was very fresh and so flavorful, my husband had a carne asada torta he absolutely loved the fresh bread it was a packed sandwich. I don’t eat meat much so they custom made me a meatless torta the beans are so good and the bread. My son had a chicken quesadilla and we all shared an order of potato taquitos. Yes we like to eat and everything was delicious. We took our order to go and drove 7 miles back home the food was still very warm. Well be visiting again.“

“The Baskin-Robbins store on Harrison is an awesome store except for when the young man is working there. Young man never feels your container full like the young lady. The young lady make sure that all the airs out and gives you a filled container but the guy could care less. With the prices the way they are, I sure think that you should get a full container full of ice cream the money. Very disappointed“

“FLAVOR BOMB !! I had the Al Pastor (no beans) burrito. Insanely good marinated pork with pineapple in a burrito. The sweet with some heat. The perfect combo. And the thing is huge. Has to be over 2 lbs. The staff is friendly and full of smiles. The food is fresh and full of flavor. Now I have to drive all the way from the west side for my burrito.

“I’ve ordered the Thai fried rice and mango sticky rice from Nana Pattaya Express several times now—and I’ll keep coming back. They’re absolutely one of my favorites.

That said, I must say some of the reviews listed here are ignorant, and frankly, biased.

While I agree that the fried rice was a bit too spicy for a level 2 heat the first time I ordered it, I’ve since requested it with level 0 spiciness and less salt—and it came out perfect.

As for the mango sticky rice, I couldn’t help but cackled at the comment claiming that the green hue on the sticky rice is a food safety concern. The ignorance and arrogance really showed through.

If you’re unfamiliar with Southeast Asian food culture, do yourself a favor and Google the word “pandan.” You’ll understand exactly what it is.

Good food comes with a willingness to explore and respect cultural differences. Nana Pattaya Express is a gem for those who appreciate authentic flavors and are open to learning along the way.

P.S. The cashier and chef has been nothing but kind, polite and cordial to me. And I don’t even speak Thai. Maybe try to be a decent human being and be nicer to them? They ain’t your servants you know.“
