“2 dozen oysters are included with the reservation, 12 on the half shell and 12 baked. We added clam chowder, a Louie salad and drinks. In total, a bit pricey, but views were great and parties sit in these plywood A frame huts open on the sides. Bathrooms were outhouses with common area sinks.“

“We went to Alderbrook for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Due to it being a Friday night, we expected a loud atmosphere and busy night for the kitchen. We waited an hour for our food which was a little stressful because we have a 6 month old baby who is only breastfed. Our full time at the restaurant took a little less than 2 hours. We had to decline the complimentary dessert so we could get home to home. Additionally, the food is massively overpriced for the portion size. I ordered a steak which I expected to be small but my husband's pasta came in a tiny bowl. The food was good, not amazing, and it arrived cold. Our waiter was excellent and kind and was handling the clearly very busy evening with grace but three other couples around us complained to either their wait staff or the manager. They also waited over an hour for cold food. We spent $170 and were overall disappointed with the quality of the food and the price. The setting on the water is so beautiful but there was also a very large group there treating the restaurant like their personal place. They were yelling and cheering at everything. That is not a reflection on the staff however, do not expect a quiet dining experience. The restaurant is normally loud because it's a big open space but this group of people were genuinely obnoxious. Our server was a joy and very helpful.“
