“I normally don’t review a restaurant after one visit, but Marzano was exceptional. It’s an approachable fine dining experience. The staff was great, and definitely give the impression that they genuinely care about your visit. We took a chance on the appetizer special, and were very happy that we stepped outside our comfort zone (Traditional Venetian antipasto of marinated salt cod on squid ink polenta cakes paired with whipped ciccione crostini, sour cherries and hazelnuts). The lasagna bolognese and carbonara were absolutely amazing from the first bite to the last. I’ve never had better.“

“I've been eating this pizza for 20 years now!! Same great family running it and Adrian always makes me feel like family when I come in to get some pies. The pizza's crusts are never greasy and the cheese is real with all fresh ingredients on the pies!!! I still drive over from Tacoma after my family moved to get these pizzas and it's worth the 20 mins. to get there. Always super friendly staff & never disappoints. “I purchased 3 items this afternoon. A chocolate merengue cupcake , a streusel cake,
and a pumpkin biscotti. The cupcake and streusel cake were moist and delicious. The biscotti had a good flavor but unfortunately was not crunchy, the texture was not like biscotti. Having said this I think this cupcake bakery is excellent and I am very picky about my baked goods!“

“Thank you for making my mom's 95th birthday special tonight. John is fabulous and made us all laugh and feel very welcome. Food was all delicious. Lasagna, Wild caught salmon, smoked salmon fettuccine and pizza were ALL perfection. And I will definitely be dreaming about that lemon cake!!!!“

“I had a delicious vegetarian spread. The hummus plate was wonderful, loved the added veggies. The falafel was amazing as well but a little tricky to eat as perfectly fried balls. A disk or patty like would make it easy to eat but that’s a micro critique. It’s hard to be mad at a perfectly fried falafel ball. Tha ambiance was on point. Cute spot! Loved the dickcore.

The service was genuinely amazing — super kind, quick, and made the whole experience feel welcoming. I wasn’t expecting such quality sushi and Asian food in this location, but everything I ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

The sashimi was melt-in-your-mouth good, and the specialty roll had the perfect balance of spicy and creamy. I also ordered a cooked dish with fried rice and beef — it was packed with flavor and cooked just right.

You can tell they care about both the food and the people. Clean place, great portions, and a solid mix of sushi and wok-style dishes. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in the area!“

“Super calm and quiet little hole in the wall teriyaki joint. I've been wanting to try this place for a while, and the little tucked away places like these are always the best! And I was not disappointed! The fried rice was some of the best I've ever had, Tempura shrimp and gyoza seemed very fresh and super flavorful and crispy. I got the Mongolian Beef as my main dish and while it seemed like it was missing something, maybe it wasn't as saucy as I'm used to at other places, but who knows this could be the traditional way to make it so I won't jump to conclusions. It was still very delicious though!

The only little downside is that I wish the meal portion sizes were a little larger. But other than that, service was very kind, it seems like this lovely older man and woman running the shop all by themselves. I had walked in to tonight get a to-go order tonight and was probably waiting a little less than or around 10 minutes, this was a Saturday night too. The place wasn't very busy, but I think it definitely deserves more attention. I will be coming here again!“

“I finally managed to check this great little spot out. It's just a few years young, but definitely on the right track. This husband and wife team creates some fantastically delicious and refreshing ciders! The flight I sampled consisted of 4 unique selections and all were amazing! The cider list will change frequently, so drink up because your fave might be long gone the next time you visit. Given that the taproom/cidery is in a renovated warehouse, it boasts high ceilings providing an open, spacious, and airy feeling, and seating is available outdoors as well. A food truck is on-site, bring your own eats, or Door Dash it. And...they have a few local beers are on tap, if ciders aren't your thing.Leashed fur-babies are allowed to hang out here with their well-behaved owners, and this place is family-friendly, too!I will definitely return and can't wait to see what's next on their cider menu.“

I got the turkey bacon ranch sandwich on fresh (and when I say “fresh” I absolutely mean it) and it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. My husband got the turkey pesto ranch on herbed focaccia bread and his mind was blown. No more Subway or Panera for us. This place is our new first choice go to for sandwiches. “I am a connoisseur of Mexican cuisine and my home I always fry my shells thanks to my Orpilla family but recently I have been on a crunchy taco kick and my friend showed up and brought me out to Tacoma and we had a hard time finding a place that was open because it's Easter so he took me to Mazatlan on South Tacoma Way and it is amazing in here. Right now they are giving my prior experience a run for its money this place is awesome!!“

“We had bacon with eggs overeasy, pancakes and has browns. We wanted crisot bqcon and has browns. All of it was delicious and done thecwaycwe wanted. The service was fast. Servers were very polite and prompt with our meals. Highly recommend this place. Our bacon slices were about 10 inches long and we both got four slices each. Bathrooms were clean.“
