Seating inside their heated hip bus or at their outdoor picnic tables. Been going here for years. Been to many burger places throughout WA but, Lucky's is one of my all time go to favorites.“

“Fantastic tavern in a beautiful neighborhood in north end. A huge variety of tasty local beers. Beautifully decorated with a warm inviting atmosphere. Didn’t have food but heard (and saw) that it’s fantastic. Lots of games including shuffleboard, darts and pool for only 50 cents!!“

Given that the taproom/cidery is in a renovated warehouse, it boasts high ceilings providing an open, spacious, and airy feeling, and seating is available outdoors as well. What stands out here is the restraint: you’re not bombarded with sugar, you’re allowed to taste real ingredients. The crumb of the bread is so light and airy you’d think they’d captured a cloud in the oven. The fillings are beautifully balanced, it's enough to make you smile, not so much to make you wince.

The variety is fantastic: you’ve got traditional old-world techniques being used but the flavour profile is fresh, modern, bright. You’ll find something here that reminds you of your bakery travels in Tokyo or Paris, but with its own personality.

Service is friendly, sincere, and you can tell the bakers care. The space is inviting, no gimmicks, just good baking done well.

My only nitpick (and it’s a small one): come early, because the best stuff flies off the shelves. But when you get it fresh? That’s the kind of bake that makes me want to roll up my sleeves and say, ‘This is what a bakery should be.’
