They don’t always adhere to their hours, so, if they aren’t answering, then you should make alternative plans. You can’t dine in either. Take out only. Those are the breaks in rural America!”

“"Seafood Sunday," three courses for $39, was excellent. Clam chowder appetizer was thick and tasty with plenty of clams. Steelhead entree with rice pilaf and sauteed spinach was tender and flavorful. Elevated Ice Cream with blueberries made a fine dessert. Our server (Lily) was friendly and attentive.”

“The farm and cidery tour we had with Cougar was so informative and fun for our group! The history of the farm, the various trees on the acreage, how the business sources apples, and the production facility were included. And so much interesting background information on types of cider apples and things we had never thought of about the uniqueness of individual apple seeds! We had a great time. The tour and plentiful samples is very worthwhile during a visit!”

“Jupiter Coffee has outdone itself. Again. They’ve “trialed” two new scone flavors—Egg Nog and German Chocolate Cake—and if there’s any justice in this world, they’ll never come off the menu. These scones are what happens when breakfast and dessert sneak off for a weekend in the mountains and come back glowing. Flaky, rich, and just this side of scandalous, they’re basically a warm hug (but with better boundaries). The Egg Nog one tastes like Santa after three bourbons. The German Chocolate? Like your grandma’s cake went to therapy and found herself. Exactly what you need to ease into cooler temps: one part cozy, one part chaos, all parts delicious. 10/10. Would risk crumbs in the car again.”

“The food always hits the spot! Try to get there early for the Villabilly at breakfast or for lunch I recommend a sandwich. Very large portions are big enough for 2- I always share with my hubby or end up taking the other half for leftovers. It’s the only restaurant in the area and you can’t beat the view. “If you’d like to step back in time and visit a true dive bar full of history everywhere you look, this is the place for you. Steve shared so many great stories and memorabilia with us. It’s no-frills, nothing fancy and was an experience I won’t soon forget. It has indoor and outdoor seating, a pool table and a bar cat named Willie (he was outside sunning himself when we arrived). Fun little stop in Lofall!”

PSCR also makes espresso blends, as well as grounded white coffee — for those preferring something that isn’t coffee-esque in taste.”

“We have been going here regularly for lunch for the past several years and we have never been disappointed. Serving sizes are fantastic, the service is wonderful, and they have the best burritos and tacos I have ever had, and by far the best lunch food option on the island. Bring cash!”

“Jordan is probably the best Barista at this stand, she makes the coffees perfect everytime, she is so kind, and she remembers mine and my friends coffee, she is so casual, relaxed and gives great energy. This stand has alot of options and White coffee, which no other stand in the area has, they have good beans and the only time I get burnt coffee here is on the weekends which is probably newer baristas. All in all 5 stars.”
