8 Best Cafes near Puyallup

“My daughter and I just had Afternoon Tea at The Pink Chandelier!! Surprisingly I had NEVER been in there before 😱 (shame on me, I've lived in Puyallup 20+ years). The boutique is stunning! Every inch tastefully has something sparkly and wonderful to see, to which my daughter had to stop and admire. "Oh mommy, look at this!" "Oh mommy, this is beautiful!!" Lunch and the tea service was EXCELLENT too! She had hot chocolate in a tea pot that she could pour into her tea cup. They made sure her sandwich and pastries were gluten free and my soup and chicken salad croissant sandwich was the 🩷 BEST 🩷 I have had since I can remember. We will become frequent attendees going forward!“

“I’ve been coming here for a couple years. The service is usually great and the coffee is good. In fact, I drive a good 10 minutes out of my way almost every day to get coffee here. Hannah, one of the newer girls, had extremely disappointing service today and I'm not sure I'll be back. Hannah said hello, how are you? I responded and apparently she didn’t hear me. She repeated herself with a tone, to which I responded that I had said hi? She responded , well I didn’t hear you then asked for my order. To which she still couldn’t clearly hear me . She asked me again to repeat myself. So I did more loudly and then she got rude. Saying I’m only asking you to speak up because the machines are loud. I’ve never had such issues with having to raise my voice but if you continually ask me to speak louder and I do, don’t insinuate that I’m being rude when I’m doing what you asked? She got both drink orders wrong so I guess she really couldn’t hear me or was being vindictive about purposely making them incorrect. I asked for one drink hot and she made it iced. The other drink I asked for extra ice and she gave me extra water (as seen in pic) . She remade my hot order without apology, however very slowly which didn’t bother me to be patient . But I felt like she was purposely being slow because she was upset at me. She handed me my drink without another word. That being said I’m still rating this place 4 stars . Minus one star for Hannah and the occasional inconsistent quality of drinks from all my visits. Still not sure if I’ll be returning as I don’t want another encounter with Hannah. I supported this shop so long because I much prefer to go out of my way to support a local shop versus popular chains.“

“My husband and I love this place!!! Their service is excellent!!! The food is fresh and cooked to specification. I have too many food intolerances and they accommodate the best they can. Their food looks and tastes homemade. I'm picky abt my fried eggs and they make them perfect. Cinnamon rolls are perfection. We like the atmosphere but to each their own. There's no loud music just the pleasant sound of people visiting. Sometimes the temp is a bit cool. We don't expect perfection especially since this is not a small business friendlybstate cc and sense covid help has been hard to get. No one is perfect and they take care of any problems right away. Only problem we've had was a couple times breakfast wasn't very warm othervthanbthat can't recommend enough for breakfast or lunch!!!“
