“I do not eat chole bhature in the USA because from East coast to West Coast, I never found any restaurant that knows how to make them.

Chatpata started making them with the promise that they will taste authentic.

I was not disappointed, their chhole are authentic Delhi style giving the flavor to the bhatura.

Must try.“

“We love coming here as family (2 kids under 6) and always appreciate the staff being patient. Now to the food, it’s not the typical Indian restaurant but that’s where the magic is. You feel transported back to India’s good restaurants where you get delicious food. It may not be authentic but their take is delicious. It is definitely a must try.“

“If I were to ignore the ambience of this place, the food is pretty good. I tried the Gongura Chicken Briyani - ideally it is supposed to be pretty spicy. However here the spice level were minimal but still very flavorful.

I also liked the chickoo shake they had. Overall thumbs up for a Briyani spot.“

“A group of out friends came to Southern Spice for lunch today . They had buffet. I went to flash back to my younger days. I ate like an elephant. Nans were so delicious. Loved the mutton curry and chicken fry. There were so many other vegetarian and non vegetarian options which I tasted but at the end I stick to my favorites. At last the dessert. Gulab jamun and Kheer were awesome. One of my friend ate three bowls of it.“

“I don’t know who prepared the Egg Biryani today- Uber eats. It was the best I ever had in years! The best, complete fragrance and taste of authentic Biryani. Requested for extra spicy and masala. Perfectly added! Best biryani ever had in Greater Seattle area.

I also had previously their curries in the restaurant, it was always served super hot fresh and tasty!
Though the spot itself could seem a lil small, but it’s in prime area and taste is all matters
