“Had a super great dinner last night after the power outage!! Mio (I hope I’m remembering her name right) was top notch, super sweet, and was so attentive to our table. The food was amazing; the yellow curry and the crispy garlic chicken were to die for! You absolutely must try the kaffir lime drops!“

“A cozy bistro, quaint decor and lighting. Great options especially for vegetarians. The tofu servings were generous and fresh. We had the spring rolls and egg rolls for appetizers both were fresh and mildly seasoned. The fresh Thai basil stood out. Sauces were ok. The Tomkha noodle soup was delicate and portion was good for 4 adults. The red curry and ginger vegetables were delicious too. Wish Thor rice portions were bigger though. Service was quick and everything was piping hot and fresh. Will return to try more. It’s a small place but we did not have to wait for a table. Best Thai food experience I’ve had in the Seattle area.“

“Obsessed with their prawn papaya salad. Initially it might seem pricey, but once you get it and see how many prawns they put in plus the quality, size, and freshness of the prawns and the perfect texture of the papaya and cherry tomatoes, it is very fairly valued. I've ordered the BBQ sticky rice, pad thai, and mango sticky rice in the past and everything was always super flavorful. Flavors here are also a lot more intense, rich, and feel authentic to Southeast Asia more so than at comparable Thai restaurants on the East Side, which can sometimes feel a bit like Americanized Thai. Also love their premium thai tea!“

“It was a happy experience to come to this restaurant. The space is decorated with beautiful floral wall paintings and lots of Thai style decorations. The staff is genuinely friendly and attentive. More than half of the menu can be made vegan. The green curry with spiciness level three hit the spot with a good depth of coconut flavor. The massaman curry was well balanced too and the Rama noodles had lots of fresh vegetables. It’s a great place for vegan and gluten-free options.“

(My only suggestions for improvement: It would be great if the sticky rice could be stickier, if they used real Thai basil, and the sai aua came with nam phrik num. But I am NOT complaining!) “I got to experience Chantanee Thai Restaurant this evening and it has become a favorite of mine for sure! the food is fresh, flavorful and delicious! Great service, a clean and comfy restaurant. I tried the Crispy Cashew Chicken, which is the best I've had. I ordered a level 2 spice and it was very got for me, so if you enjoy spicy hot food, this is a great place to try. Can't wait to take the hubby here!!! Their sauces are great, the fried vegetable spring rolls are a great appetizer. Excellent experience!“

I loved that the menu wasn't just the same old same old and included dishes I haven't seen before, the smokey eggplant/tofu, corn salad, and mushroom fritters were particularly delicious but I want to try everything vegan they offer.“

We went on a Sunday afternoon with friends that lived near the restaurant.
Every seat was filled!
Took a little while to get food but only because there was only one person serving , taking orders, cleaning, ...
We tipped her well.
Clean, affordable, good food.
After 4:00pm we were the only table left.
Lots of familys, again Sunday.
Overall great experience.

Parking: When we got there it was full.
They update capacity well.
Extra parking on the street was no problem.“

It didn't really seem spicy to me, but maybe that's because I'm from Texas. Maybe that is considered spicy around here. It was tasty though. Our waiter was super friendly and checked on us once or twice. Our drinks were refilled repeatedly, which is a mark of good customer service in my book. “I've been coming to this restaurant since they were called Thai Rama in the mid-late 1990's, and despite the changes over the years (in name, staff, etc.) I've never been disappointed in the food, the service and the people who keep this restaurant one of my favorite Thai places in the area. My favorite dish, hands down, is the Thai Rama fried rice, which is a unique take on a staple Thai classic (fresh meats and vegetables in a delicious sauce served over a bed of succulent fried rice). I am sure I'll continue coming to eat here as long as they stay open, which I hope is many, many more years.“

“I love Thai Ginger! One of our favorite places. They always accommodate GF and dairy free. Coconut Thai iced tea is so good! And their desserts are delicious! We haven't eaten there in person in years, but I remember that the vibes are casual and family friendly. Chicken satay is my favorite go-to when I'm hungry and I can't think of what to eat.“

“One of the best Thai restaurants in the area. The spring rolls are some of the best I've ever had, freshly made every day in house. Most dishes are very tasty, so it's a bit let down by the green curry and the fried rice, which are better at Bangkok Basil.“

“This is our go-to comfort food spot for chicken satay, massamun curry, and a coconut milk Thai iced tea. We’ve been coming here for 30 years after karate and driver’s ed and half days and for celebrations and on rainy days and lunches with my grandmother. I hope Pon Proem is here forever! It’s always a special treat in our family, even now that my own daughter is grown. ❤️

“Pretty good thai restaurant. I had the panang curry, and the flavour was good but the chicken could've been more tender. My biggest complaint is that plain white rice doesn't come with the curry and is an extra $3, making it a bit on the pricier end compared to my favourite spot. The mango sticky rice was delicious too!“

“Wow! Wow! Wow! This place did not disappoint. Loco moco is a fave, with its delicious gravy over a thick grilled burger patty. Gingery cole slaw, Mac salad, rice and a perfectly runny egg completed this dish. We also tried the garlic shrimp, full of roasted garlic cloves and amazing flavor. It was a little on the spicy side but not overdone. This is a small place but clean and tidy. Staff is friendly and efficient. We will be back!“
