I'm very excited to add this place to my rotation of takeout spots in the neighborhood. I went Sunday afternoon to pick up a lunch order I'd called in, and in 15 minutes it was all ready for me. The lamb/rice plate comes with a small portion of salad and hummus, but the kind server gave me two pieces of bread, fresh out of the oven, and a free bottle of water due to the hot day! The family-run business is friendly and welcoming, with super lovely service that enhances the dining experience. They provide high chairs for kids, ensuring a kid-friendly environment. The restaurant has vegetarian options and is easy to access for those with wheelchairs. Despite the rough edges, the tasty food, including the flavorful lamb, makes it worth a visit. Overall, Al Azayem is a comfortable spot for dining in or takeout, and it has great potential for growth.
