About Paju

Paju in South Lake Union is a restaurant that offers a modern and elegant dining experience with a focus on Korean cuisine. The atmosphere is quiet and sophisticated, making it an ideal spot for date nights or special occasions. The restaurant is known for its creative and well-executed dishes that showcase Korean flavors with thoughtful twists. The menu is always changing, providing guests with exciting new options each visit, and the dishes are full of bold flavors with beautiful presentation.

Popular dishes include the Octopus, served with smoked trout roe and dashima beurrie blanc sauce, which is visually attractive and delicious, and the Mushrooms, topped with translucent parmesan, white kimchi, and truffle aioli, which are considered top dishes. The Branzino Gui is perfectly grilled, tender, and beautifully plated, though some find it a bit plain for the price. The Duck breast, accompanied by a pistachio pastry and banchan, is highly praised for its tenderness and clever presentation. The Paju Fried Rice, cooked with kimchi, bacon, squid ink, and quail egg, is a popular dish, while the yellowtail in chilled naengmyeon broth is a light, citrusy, and memorable bite.

The service is attentive, helpful, and timely, enhancing the dining experience. Cocktails and desserts are also noteworthy, with shaved ice serving as a satisfying finish. Overall, Paju offers a refined yet relaxed atmosphere with creative Korean-inspired dishes that keep guests returning again and again.
