“This is one of my favorite places and Seattle. Easily. If you like sandwiches, then you should definitely come here. They compete with Fortuna and - in my opinion - exceed Fortuna (largely because of portion; you just get more bang for your buck here). We’ve had almost every sandwich available from Hushy’s. The Turkey is a clear winner (its combo of salty, somewhat smokey and tanginess lets it stand out). Our next favorite is a tie between the mortadella and the (fried) fish sandwich. You really can’t go wrong with any of their sandwiches. Two things I’d point out:

1) The Japanese beef curry sandwich is too salty
2) The sandwiches are expensive (but one sandwich can easily feed two)

Oh and the atmosphere is dope. Just take a look for yourself. This place deserves 5 stars.“

“I had their Japanese chicken curry tonight and it was delicious!! The seasoning was perfectly balanced and definitely tastes homemade. There was a good amount of chicken, so not one of those curries which leaves you looking for the rest of the protein half way through. This place is in a cute food hall so you can find an table and eat or take your food home. Overall a great experience and I’m looking forward to trying more of their menu.“

“This is the best neighborhood corner store you could ask for. There are always a lot of kids there for my little ones to run around with while I have a beer, and the owners and all the staff couldn’t be nicer. I see them in other establishments or on walks around the neighborhood and they always wave or stop for a chat. Truly, a store that brings the community together.“

Everything I have ever ordered from here is delicious (and I’ve gone through most of the menu). Ordering online is super easy. The shop is small, so I don’t often eat there. But I have when pho is in season and it’s really lovely to eat pho and stare out the window. I will echo what someone said about the shrimp Banh mi, it needs more love in these reviews!“

Some contstructive feedback, If I could make a suggestion it would be to make the meatball a staple on the menu, probably some of the best meatballs I've ever had. But maybe think about using some sort of bright marinara sauce on the sandwich to dull the richness of the meatballs.

“Pane Pane is a great option for lunch in downtown. Their sandwiches are delicious, and they staff is very friendly and quick. The Teriyaki Meatball Banh Mi is absolutely fantastic. (it's by far my favorite on the menu). The atmosphere is fine, it's a space made for grabbing food, or eating solo at the counter. There's not much seating, so if you're with a friend or a group, I'd recommend having a back up place to sit and enjoy your food.“

“Yum!! I had the Menchi Katsu Sando with potato salad. This is the Japanese equivalent of a meatloaf sandwich imo, but add cabbage. I wouldn’t say it looks super appealing but it was delicious. I would add the spicy mayo if you want to dial up the flavor profile.“

No jalepeno as requested but neither a single bit of tomato or onion either which come by default. Well not sure who is making these but it’s probably a new person I guess? They need to read the orders. Having 3 tiny slices of black olive on a foot long is not ‘more olives.’ I come here a LOT and I tip but not sure why this kinda stuff keeps happening here.“
