“New Owner, New Vibe, Hot Subs (finally) After being closed for a month, I drove by wanting lunch and saw the neon sign was on.I went inside, and didn't recognize anyone working there. I could see one guy was clearly in charge, taking inventory of everything, like he had a lot of work ahead of him.Turns out, he's the new owner, Andy. He owns several other Subways throughout the Seattle area, and decided to buy the MI Subway from the prior owner, Mike. He knew he had his work cut out for him, and hand-picked his most elite team members from each of his locations.They're all friendly, fast, and for the first time in my life the sub was still hot when I got it home. This isn't the Mercer Island Subway you remember. Its so much better!“

“I have been enjoying these sandwiches since they opened, but haven't gotten around to writing a review. Fortuna is aligned with everything I look for in a sandwich: simple and delicious ingredients that don't spill out the sides while you eat it. Sounds easy but sometimes feels impossible to find. I'm glad to live so close to a sandwich shop that has the vision. Also everyone who works here is so nice and accommodating. That attitude is contagious! Every time I eat there, the patrons and all their dogs seem to be in a great mood which definitely adds to the experience.“

I gave this place 4 stars only because its really expensive.
To be fair they give you quite a large serving for what you pay, but it was still hard to justify the price.

“We had a very good sandwich at Bleuwiches! Toast L made our sandwiches. I had the chicken club on a French baguette and my husband had the wild salmon burger on a Brioche bun with. Both were toasted and were delicious. We had chips and sodas with our meal.
The prices of the sandwiches were reasonable and the menu had quite a few choices.

We ordered the Grindhouse, a Mortadella, classic Salami, stacked with Dijon mustard, mayo, shredded iceberg, house made dill pickles, provolone, and a bright red wine vinaigrette, all on a perfectly chewy demi baguette. Every bite was balanced and delicious in a cute space. Downside for older guests is the unmanned Kiosk to order. No opportunity to ask about the sandwiches and then after ordering yourself the kiosk asks for a tip! And parking, however, was nearly impossible. We ended up in a garage that cost more than the sandwich itself. Still, the food was excellent — just go when you have patience (or a chauffeur).“

“First time trying Cheba Hut and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the 4” Apollo 13 on garlic bread with pepper jack cheese. It had a good amount of protein for the size, the bread was flavorful, and everything tasted fresh. Solid sandwich—I’d definitely come back to try something else on the menu.“

“I love this place. The food is always fresh with well balanced flavors, with lots of options depending on the flavor palette and proteins you are looking for. The value is excellent, with generous portions of protein in all my go-to entrees. I love the sushi burritos and poke bowls, especially.

The staff are all great, always kind and very attentive to my questions. They have always been kind to accommodate any modification requests I have to my order. I have been coming to Deli Queen regularly since April of this year. As a new transplant to Washington, it has become a comforting place to eat for me.“

“Great little no-frills sandwich spot in downtown Seattle. The sandwiches are excellent, the service is genuinely friendly, and they are incredibly fast—you order and your food is ready in no time.

What I especially liked is that it feels like a real local place that serves the community rather than a tourist spot. Everything was clean and well organized, and there’s seating along the sides where you can sit and enjoy your food comfortably.

The Burien store used to have a closed-mouth smiley face on their health department sign, but it did improve to a wide-mouth smiley face, but the employees there are awkward and some seem a little rude, so I stopped going there even though it's the closest location to me.“
