I could see one guy was clearly in charge, taking inventory of everything, like he had a lot of work ahead of him.Turns out, he's the new owner, Andy. He owns several other Subways throughout the Seattle area, and decided to buy the MI Subway from the prior owner, Mike. He knew he had his work cut out for him, and hand-picked his most elite team members from each of his locations.They're all friendly, fast, and for the first time in my life the sub was still hot when I got it home. This isn't the Mercer Island Subway you remember. Its so much better!“

“Initially when arriving we had technical difficulties with paying, using an app that provided a discount. The customer service was top notch and helped with the issue.

Besides that wonderful customer service, the layout of Hushy's is very generous and allows you to strech your legs and enjoy the wonderful sandwiches. I recommend the mortadella, pickles, salt & vinegar chips and cookies. I highly recommend the coffee as well.

“Fantastic sandwiches — but be prepared to hunt for parking. We ordered the Grindhouse, a Mortadella, classic Salami, stacked with Dijon mustard, mayo, shredded iceberg, house made dill pickles, provolone, and a bright red wine vinaigrette, all on a perfectly chewy demi baguette. Every bite was balanced and delicious in a cute space. Downside for older guests is the unmanned Kiosk to order. No opportunity to ask about the sandwiches and then after ordering yourself the kiosk asks for a tip! And parking, however, was nearly impossible. We ended up in a garage that cost more than the sandwich itself. Still, the food was excellent — just go when you have patience (or a chauffeur).“

“The best sando I ever had in my life! I found this place on Instagram but since I live so far, I haven’t had a chance to come to check it out earlier. But today I had time and I’m glad I did.

I ordered a pork katsu sando with the spicy curry sauce on the side and it blew my mind! Their sando and curry have amazing flavors that I make me wanna keep eating and eating. Can’t wait to come back next time.

“I really like coming here. I pick up stuff for myself and coworkers. It’s about 70% great but I’ll pick up a nacho and it clearly says onions and tomatoes with no jalepeno. No jalepeno as requested but neither a single bit of tomato or onion either which come by default. Well not sure who is making these but it’s probably a new person I guess? They need to read the orders. Having 3 tiny slices of black olive on a foot long is not ‘more olives.’ I come here a LOT and I tip but not sure why this kinda stuff keeps happening here.“
