I stayed in Seattle for three weeks at the beginning of 2024. I’m in Georgia now and heavily consider taking a flight just because I think about this restaurants crab dip so much. I don’t even remember the rest of what I ate the crab dip was that good. 🥹
Came to Seattle for 21st birthday celebrations
We are originally from an island nation and now live landlocked. We were so excited to have fresh seafood and a drink overlooking the ocean, only to be told sorry I can’t serve your kids alcohol because their ID is vertical.
The seafood was fresh but the person who shucked the oysters didn’t do a great job, pieces of shell in just about every oyster. They were fresh however and the mussels were small but tasty.

The Fisherman's Restaurant Seattle is located in a charming setting, providing a unique setup that creates a memorable dining experience. While the restaurant's policy of requiring one check for parties of 8 or more can be inconvenient, the prices remain reasonable, though some recent reviews suggest that certain meals may feel overpriced. The Troll King Salmon is a highlight, and the location offers good value for the price, especially with pleasant views of the water next to the Ferris wheel.
The restaurant has faced some customer service issues, particularly on busy occasions, but the manager's willingness to listen and address concerns has been appreciated. Recent reviews highlight the enjoyable outdoor seating, especially during beautiful summer sunsets, and praise the fast, friendly service. The chowder and sourdough bread are noted as a favorite among customers.
The Fisherman's Restaurant Seattle is also recognized for accommodating dietary needs, such as offering crab boils without dairy or butter, providing special experiences for families with allergies. However, there have been reports of small portions, particularly with dishes like the three-piece Fisherman fish and chips, which were noted to have small pieces and a different coating. Despite some mixed feedback about the food quality—like dry fish and small oysters—the stunning views and relaxed vibe make The Fisherman's Restaurant Seattle a solid choice for a pleasant night out, with the possibility of some service hiccups.
