Brendan and Annie rock! Excellent must hit happy hour... the smoked salmon toast was excellent, as was the HH Negroni

Newish place - great ambiance! Love the bar area. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Happy Hour is a must! Cocktails were great, good wine list, and food was very tasty. Great local seafood, ingredients and flavors. Can't wait to go back!

My visit to this restaurant, although on the compact side, offered a cozy and intimate atmosphere, perfect for our Valentine's Day dinner. We indulged in the 4-course menu, which did not disappoint—each dish was flavorful and served in satisfying portions. The service throughout the evening was impeccable, contributing to the overall delightful experience. A particularly touching moment was when they presented my wife with a single rose as we were leaving, a thoughtful gesture that truly made our night memorable

This place rocks, especially if you're a chartreuse lover like me. The cocktails are wonderful with complex flavor combinations and no over-the-top sweetness. That alone would be enough for me, but the food is also fabulous. Our two favorite dishes are the eggs with salmon and creme fraiche and the crab on puff pastry. Brendan is a wonderful host and bartender, always willing to guide you through the menu and make suggestions. He has an incredible memory - we visited last month and he remembered exactly what we ordered then. He's so knowledgeable about liquor, especially chartreuse. If you have a bit of extra cash, be sure to try the limited edition chartreuse liqueur - it's heaven!

The food was superb. The happy hour menu was ecquisite and the service was excellent. I was thinking about my return visit soon after getting perfect oysters and the long island clinched it. Two words. Return visit!!!

Fantastic cozy restaurant with a relaxed chill vibe. Creative cocktails with an interestingly curated wine list. Seafood focused with great oysters and clams! Loved the smoked salmon and the roasted carrot dishes. Black pepper ice cream with chartreuse was very creative but heavy on the chartreuse. Wife loved the pear/brie dessert! Enjoyed sharing our dinner with co-owner (unexpectedly) Jordan and looking forward to having dinner at their other restaurant. Highly recommend but def need reservations.

The oysters and Ticket to Ride are a dangerous combo. Highly recommend you visit here soon.

This is an adorable little spot right on market street! I met a friend here for happy hour, which was a great deal. They have a happy hour menu with a few discounted drinks and you get 50% off the seafood selection on the regular menu! Everything from the ambiance to the service was fantastic! It was not busy since it was a weekday and happy hour is from 4 to 5. For my drink I tried a Negroni, which I wasn't too familiar with and loved it!! I see what all the hype is about haha. For a snack we shared the clams, which were cooked in a mouthwatering broth and served with hearty sliced toast. I would definitely be interested in coming back to try the dinner menu sometime, perhaps for a special occasion!

Absolutely loved Garrison! We love Le Coin so I was excited about equally great food and cocktails and it certainly lived up to expectations. The restaurant is so cozy and has that dark classy and almost speakeasy vibe. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience at The Garrison. The sommelier was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to educate us. I left with a whole new appreciate of champagne. The ambiance is on point! Can’t wait for the restaurant to open!

This review is for Los Tacos, their sister establishment at the window two doors down.I discovered Los Tacos last summer and fell in love with their elevated soft tortilla tacos with the onion and cilantro on top. I was craving those very same tacos and went by there tonight, but the tacos are totally different -- fried and just disappointing (see pic). They're way too greasy and the filling isn't even as flavorful and it's too mushy with how much potato is in there. I hope they go back to their original offerings. Won't be returning until they do.

We stopped in for happy hour and had a lovely experience! The cocktails were great (highly recommend the negroni!) and all of the seafood was fresh and delicious. Happy hour prices were a great deal and so pleased to see a happy hour on the weekend and not just week days. The restaurant is beautiful on the inside and all of the staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back! Truly such a great addition to Ballard!

Finally tried their HH and it did not disappoint. The place is cozy, friendly services, and it offers a good variety of HH drinks and food options. We really enjoyed the oysters on the shell, clams, and their crab dip. Will definitely come back.

SO THRILLED Le Coin has opened this absolute gem in Ballard!!The Garrison retains the fine dining service, good vibes, and generous portions of Le Coin. But it brings its own unique ambience, intimacy, and charming vision to transport every guest to a Parisienne hole in the wall that feels way cooler than anywhere else we have been in Seattle lately. The menu’s seasonality was especially impressive considering the freezing temperatures tonight. If you haven’t been following the Garrison’s opening, their theme of oysters, champagne, and chartreuse is a summertime classic in France. But their tightly curated menu and silky smooth cocktails left us feeling warmed from the inside out, and confident that this restaurant knows exactly how it fits into the Seattle food scene.10/10 and can’t wait to come back and see how this wonderful spot continues to develop. What we ordered:Champagne and oysters du jour (Dumont & Treasure Cove)Bread service (Macrina bread and parsley butter)Crab and leek dipWinter root vegetablesSeared albacore tunaBlack Pepper ice creamCocktails:Golden GardensTicket to RideBorn Again Monk (off the menu take on Death in the Afternoon, courtesy of the GM, who served us tonight and designed the formidable cocktail menu)In conclusion, we walked away feeling like a little bit of magic has been sprinkled in Ballard this winter. Can’t wait to go back!!
