Sandwich Shops in Shelton

I wanted to share with you my amazing experience at Olympic Bakery in shelton Washington.

After multiple stops where they refused to let my son and U use the facilities they welcomed us in with the sweet smell of fresh baked bread.
wr learned that they make all of their bread from scratch every single day using a four-generation-old grape leaf sourdough starter. They also feature incredible homemade pastries that are made from that very same sourdough starter and local ingredients

On top of that, they have an incredible selection of hand-curated wines chosen special by the owners themselves. there selections aren't based on the standard wine point system, but rather on what they actually liked, and they personally recommended which foods pair best with each wine.

they gave me the absolute best wine tasting of my entire life. were so kind, and the wine tasting was completely free. I didn't feel pressured to buy anything at all, and I only bought the things that I truly wanted. they didn't judge me for any of my choices and I learned more about wine then I could have imagined.

“It's a subway, so you know what you are going to get, and that's a good thing.

I am writing this because something unusual happened - I enjoyed myself ordering lunch. How strange!

I had a marvelous time with the crew when my wife and I stopped in to get some food. From Trinity, Keegan, Crystal and I am embarrassed to admit that I forget the last team member's name - we had a fun, professional, and rewarding interaction while my sandwiches were being prepped.

It was refreshing seeing a team with such a good rapport working together, being polite, humorous, attentive to our needs, and making sandwiches that admittedly were going to be a struggle to make anything but messily (all the toppings ftw). They were relaxed, in a good mood, and made our food quickly and with an attention to detail that was admirable. And tried their best to fold a sandwich covered in spinach leaves and cucumbers.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I had a nice time ordering a sandwich or two and walking out of a store in a better mood than when I went in.

I now realize I may have remembered the third team member's name wrong - Was it Addie? Or was it crystal and Addie? My apologies, y'all. You were great and I remember THAT, and that's why I wrote today's review.“

“We just stopped in for lunch. We had a quick question and Kara was very helpful in explaining the meal of the day. Kara was also helpful in ringing up our order for each of us getting what we wanted. She also refilled the Pepsi machine promptly when we needed it. Kara’s all around demeanor was helpful and friendly. Her customer service is excellent.“
