“This is my go-to lunch spot every time I hop over to the Seattle side of the Sound, which is basically weekly… The staff are super friendly and their self-serve all-you-can-eat bbq bar is always nice and fresh with a good selection of meats and sides that really hit the spot. They also have a full menu of traditional Korean dishes. I will keep returning until life takes me away from WA in 2026…

“Do yourself a favor — EAT AT LOTUS POND. (1) Carpool to Lotus Pond. The more the merrier. (2) Appetizers: You can’t lose. Everything is good. Me? I eat the Imperial Rolls. Get two orders of the egg rolls aka Imperial Rolls — one order won’t be enough for 2 people. Start there, you’ll be very happy. Also order the pork belly on the skewers please, No regrets. It’s very good. (3) Noodle Soups. Every bowl Is a winner. Pho is great, no question there. However, you absolutely must eat the SEAFOOD with special Red Noodle. (4) Early enough during the day, drink the Viet Ice Coffee. (5) Too bad they don’t have enough staff/hands to make the BANH CUON but they make up for it in many ways. Try everything on the menu. I’m not a relative. I don’t get money or fame for recommending Lotus Pond. I just know authentic good food when I see and eat it. Try it. You will leave with a full, joyous stomach … you will be very satisfied. Happy eating!“

The restaurant's beautiful decor, complete with lush greenery, creates a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. The menu at Cafe Flora is a vegetarian's dream come true. We started our meal with a trio of appetizers that were all absolutely delicious. The FLORA BAKEHOUSE GOUGERES were cheesy and satisfying, the BURRATA & STONE FRUIT was a refreshing combination of flavors, and the MEDITERRANEAN SPREADS were a flavorful medley of ingredients. For our main course, we couldn't resist the SUBSTANTIAL menu items. The KIMCHI BLACK BEAN ALMOND BURGER was a flavorful and hearty option, but our favorite was the FRIED TRUMPET MUSHROOM & POTATO WAFFLE. This unique and satisfying dish was topped with walla walla onion rings, lime crema, herb butter, and hot agave. To complement our meal, we enjoyed a variety of refreshing drinks. The ROSEMARY LEMONADE, BLUEBERRY LAVENDER FIZZ, CHERRY FIVE SPICE FIZZ, and BLACKBERRY TANGERINE NOG were all delicious and perfectly balanced. We couldn't resist indulging in dessert, and the ETON MESS and COLLINS FAMILY ORCHARDS PEACH SHORTCAKE were both absolutely heavenly. The service at Cafe Flora is impeccable. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience. “Is it outrageously overpriced ice cream?- yes. Is it outrageously good ice cream?- yes! The best dairy free ice cream I've ever had. $25 for 4 scoops of ice cream is crazy to me, but we're from out of town and had to try this place. The Salty Caramel Ash and California Cabin were so yummy!“

“We've stopped here every now and then for the atmosphere and tasty coffees and Italian sodas. My favorite to get is a cardamom Italian soda with cream and whipped cream. They're really nice, the cups and straws are compostable, and it's a super chill atmosphere if you're not in a rush with tables inside and a couple outside. Would recommend.“

“Super impressed with this locally owned coffee shop... It has the vibe of old school Seattle coffee shops with a fresh edge, which is to say it's casual and comfortable, made for hanging out, but they also carry more food and make it easy to get stuff to go.
They bake and make all their stuff in house. The excellence of their wares is evidenced by the number of customers and the many take out orders getting picked up.
The counter person was super helpful, friendly and welcoming. They recommended several things and I tried the coconut bread, a signature item. It was delicious - a large slab that was moist and flavorful. I appreciate the variety. This isn't the same old-same old.

“Tried the gluten free pancakes and chicken and waffles - great texture for both and really enjoyed everything we ordered. They put gf items on green plates so our waiter was able to catch the wrong item being prepped before I ate it. Would definitely recommend!“

“Overall this was a great bar. Great cocktails, service, and atmosphere. What was shocking to me and hesitate to come back are the $25 cocktails. They do have amazing cocktails but wowza with tax and tip and spending $30 per drink, my belly is happy but my wallet is not. Don’t regret coming though!“

“Wonderful Greek food. We ordered 4 meze to start - octopus, squid, lamb dumplings and sauteed mushrooms. Everything was delicious, but the mushrooms with ouzo stood out. They're a don't miss. After, the guys ordered lamb with ouzo (women were full). When we tasted the items, there was always a Wow. Terrific service and recommendations from our server.“
