“One of our favorites! Niko, Olympia, Demitri and team serve up delicious, authentic, generously portioned, perfectly cooked, and reasonably priced dishes with a hearty side of friendly, warm hospitality. They give this corner of the world a neighborhood vibe. Can't say enough good things! The Greek food is of course amazing, but you haven't had a burger until you've had the Time Out burger.“

“Wonderful repeat visit to the real deal = huge menu, ample portions, great flavor, wonderful service, with accessible on street parking. They could use some authentic Greek artwork on the walls or even Hellenic music.“

“Our favorite place in Seattle for the past 5 yrs. Everyone is family here, and we feel a part of it. Owner is lovely. Best grilled octopus ever! I’m the “ big octopus leg” lady. Love you guys!“

“This place is great! We had lunch today and have been a few times previously, so they are seemingly consistent. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. The gyro plates, pictured, were ~$13 each. I highly recommend them because you get a bit of everything. They made a new batch of fries, toasted up the pita, and sliced the meat off the uh, ‘big meat’ fresh while we waited. Some other places keep the already sliced meat in a hot holding tray. This was much better.
PS: Apparently the “big meat” on the vertical rotisserie is called a gyrokone or meat tornado. Awesome lol 🍖🌪️“

“Everything here is very delicious and very, very fresh! I can't believe I slept on this place for so long. But, I saw someone post a really good "review" on Reddit, and thought, "I have to try that place!" It did not disappoint. The Tzatziki is so perfectly salty and creamy, super thick, and tastes very much house made. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki as a sandwich and it wasn't a huge portion, but the chicken was so tender, and had flavor all the way through. It was a tad dry, but... It really works with the sandwich, and the meat, again, tasted very fresh.
What's remarkable are the prices! Very reasonable for a sandwich that includes fries ($8.99) and a really decent size portion of tzatziki for an appetizer, served with warm pita triangles was, I think, five bucks.
I got take out but it's super cute inside and the people are really nice. Probably will go back and take people to eat here. They have wine, too, I think, but, I'm at work so only drank one bottle. Just kidding.“

“The most excellent Greek food you will ever have in the Seattle area! Everything is consistently fresh, well priced, the crew is awesome, and the owner truly cares about his restaurant in the quality of his food! We've been coming here for years and my family and I love it. Dine-in, take out, or outside seating - it's always good. I would highly recommend Santorini's, a true Mom and Pop Greek place.“

“Lola is one of my go-to breakfast spots in Seattle—especially when I have time to enjoy a quiet, relaxed morning. They bring a pot of coffee to the table (no waiting on refills), and the food comes out quickly, hot, and beautifully prepared. Portions are hearty without being overwhelming—think perfectly poached eggs, crisp potatoes, and fluffy pita with savory spreads. And the must-order item? The donuts. Warm, pillowy, dusted in cinnamon sugar, and served with jam and mascarpone—they're unforgettable. A solid favorite every time I'm in town.“

“The food was exactly as I remember having growing up in a thirdgen greek household. The chicken souvlaki gyro was perfectly cooked and seasoned very juicy! I loved the staff's friendliness, quickness on getting our orders, the atmosphere, and also dry goods from Greece that we could buy too! The price was also very affordable and better quality than other places have gone to where they don't even give you veggies and charge more while this place does give you good quality veggies and meat and charges less. 10/10 highly recommend.
Vegetarian options: There are salads, pita, hummus, babaganoush, spanakopita, mousaka, baklava, and falafel dishes which are all vegetarian and have some sort of plant protein(nuts, feta, or chickpeas)“

“Picked up a falafel sandwich and fries during a quick lunch. The service was pleasant and fast. My food was not only warm and tasty, but incredibly fresh. Even managed to chow down on the gigantic sandwich without it falling apart on me lol! Pro-tip, dip those tasty fries in the garlic sauce cuz...yum!
The location is extremely convenient if you're near Cal Anderson Park, making it a great choice for an impromptu picnic. Will be returning to try out the baklava, for sure!
Gotta dock a point for the styrofoam though. There's gotta be a cost-efficient way to provide to-go containers that are friendlier to the environment.“

“I lived in the UAE and have been on the hunt for the best chicken shawarma in Seattle and the outskirts. They have by far the best chicken shawarmas, baba ghanoush, etc etc
It’s a must try if you love your Mediterranean cuisine, and worth the drive from Seattle too!“

“When I tell you that this was one of the best brunches I've ever had, I'm not exaggerating.
My best friend went to UW and has been raving about Voula for YEARS. When I finally visited Seattle, this was the first place we added to the list and it did not disappoint. We ordered the pinata benedict and the Greek hobo and both were so unique and tasted phenomenal. As a potato lover, I couldn't believe the size of the hashbrowns. It was bigger than my face!! I was so stuffed after and with their low prices, it felt like such a steal. Also, the service was so unbelievably friendly. I ordered coffee and I must have had 4 refills because of how attentive they are. Voula's had such a mom and pop feel and made you feel so cozy. It seemed so many who were dining around us were regulars. I still think about this food and I cannot recommend Voula's enough!“

“I can't believe I have lived down the street for almost a year before trying this place!
It's literally the best.
The falafel was crisp and light, the veggies were all fresh and tasty, but the flavorful and plentiful sauce was the star of the sandwich for me.
I also couldn't resist the pistachio baklava, which is also fresh and light and somehow both crispy and melty.
I'll certainly become a regular here. (And I'll be able to afford to be a regular here too somehow. )
Vegetarian options: They have the standard Mediterranean takeout menu with pictures of the items available. I feel that if you are a vegetarian you likely already understand this cuisine and generally what will be good to order.“

“Super chill little place tucked back in a neighborhood with a couple others.
Gentleman at cashier was lovely, dip wasn't extra, fries were tasty, and for the price honestly pretty darn good value.
Definitely will come back to this little neighborhood joint.“

“I love this place, the food is fantastic and quickly prepared every time I've been there, and the people working there are friendly and remember what I usually order. The shop is cozy and clean, one of those "hole in the wall" places where you might miss it, but is so worth going. Anytime I'm craving perfectly done shawarma or Greek fries, I go here.“

“I got the lamb and beef Saj Shwarma wrap with hot sauce. I was in and out in 10 minutes at lunchtime. I've worked near there for two years and regret this was my first time going in -- otherwise I'd have been there for lunch more than I should. It's a very clean place, good lighting, a bit drab. I recommend it.“

“I tried this place today based on Google reviews. I had the gyro and side of falafel. Food tasted really fresh and seasoned well, I was pleasantly surprised. I especially appreciated the good service. If i could change one thing about the service though, it would be hand washing, because they just went straight to prepping my order. I just happen to inspect restaurants on a daily basis, so I’m accustomed to looking at hygiene. Other than that— would recommend 👍🏻“

“I had the Lamb & Beef Gyro Sauj Wrap, which is kinda of a gyro, burrito, with Mediterranean style veggies. Pretty common for middle eastern restaurants. It was pretty good, but had too much hot sauce on it and the meat could use some more spice. The younger guy was pretty hard to understand and was kind of mumbling which made it more difficult to catch what he was saying. And I don't think he understood when i said "a little hot sauce" because he drenched it, and was almost inedible.“

“George’s in Kirkland is a beloved local spot that has been serving the community for decades. Located at 108 Kirkland Avenue, this family-owned restaurant is known for its warm, welcoming atmosphere and delicious food.
One of the highlights of George’s is its fantastic breakfast menu. The Athenian omelet, packed with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor, is a must-try. Their buttermilk pancakes and Belgian waffles are also crowd favorites, perfect for a hearty start to the day. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable, making it a great value for money.

“In a pizza, I am looking for the puffiness of the crust, stringiness of the cheese, density of the meats, and the crunchy texture of the crust. This pizza hits it just right on all fronts. Nice job. The server could smile a little though ☺️.“

“Cheerful, prompt service, great food, and a nice view of the Sound from the outdoor seating area, which is kept pleasantly warm in the cold months. The train is RIGHT THERE at times, a little noisy for a few minutes at a time, but no big deal if you're patient. There's a wide variety on the menu, something for all tastes. And the bartender made an exemplary Martini, to boot. Demitri's will be in our regular rotation for a meal out.“

“I have loved this place for years. I sadly have moved away from the area and still dream about the greek fries and gyros from this place. A piece of my heart was left in The Greek Kitchen. Special place in heaven for the people that smothered my greek fries. “
