Try a couple of their unique flavors of the month, or sample their classic best sellers. My favorites: Chocolate Gooey Brownie and the Coffee & Love Nuts. So good!“

“I absolutely loved my dairy free raspberry marzipan cake ice cream. I got wooed by the smell of the fresh waffle cone but really I didn't need to pay the extra for that. My husband however really didn't like his ice cream saying it was way to salty. I think al the flavours are salted, so definitely more for an adult palet. There are bench seats here.“

“Pretty dang delicious and light! The ice cream is great and the favor options are nice! They rotate flavors, too, so that's cool :) you get a lot of ice cream for the price (at least for the party hats we got)! I didn't take a good picture of my ice cream, but it was cute, and again (and more importantly) delicious!“
“We swung by a few days after opening and oh my gosh YUM. We had the creamy cardamom pistachio (fantastic!), honeycomb (love how the honeycomb melts into the ice cream) and my personal favorite of them all, toasted coconut. Really sweet owners and a welcome addition to LFP!“
“After 15 years of friendship, I've discovered that my friends truly don't know me. I've visited Seattle several times a year for the past 4 years and they've lived walking distance from this amazing spot, and they've never once taken me. So much missed craft beer..
Anyway, I wandered into Chuck's around 7PM in the evening. Picked out a few beers. Then found out they do a random grab bag of four beers of a certain type for a discount. I love being surprised and you're basically offering me a beer lootbox? Sold.
The guys at the register gave great suggestions to my friends that were there too.
Stellar crew, great spot to hang, amazing selection. A shame I missed out in coming for a few years.“

“Ice cream here is pretty elite. Access to freshly made gluten free waffle cones is awesome. Strawberry Milk flavor was great.
My only critique is that there was only one employee working trying to keep up with a huge consistent line. It would be awesome if the owners would hire another person to help so the lone employee had some support. One person working on a busy Sunday seems……. Not ideal.“

“Best ice cream (gelato). Better than Italian in Italy. Thank you for Bringing back mango habanero sorbet. WOW! Your new chocolate milkshakes are making us very, very happy! Best pistachio, hazelnut… You name it their’s is the best. These nut gelatos are not made out of flavored surgery syrups. They are made out of puréed nuts. No ice cream in Seattle can compare.“

“The ice cream here is very tasty, but the experience is inconsistent.
A lot depends on who’s working and how the soft serve machine is behaving. On my first visit, there was only one employee handling a nighttime line while the machine was clearly not cooperating, and the soft serve I received was honestly the ugliest I’ve ever been served. It really should have been remade.
On later visits, there were usually two people working, but service speed varied a lot. A line around the corner might take 20 minutes or 45, depending on the day. They also seem to run out of charcoal cones late on busy days and switch to smaller store-bought cones while charging the same price. I’ve even seen them switch between cone types midday when they were behind on making the charcoal cones.“

“It was our first time at Salt & Straw! Many places allow tastings before you choose your ice cream, but usually, the staff does get annoyed and treat you like you’re an inconvenience for wanting to taste flavors you’ve never had before. So we were timid coming in. But MADDIE helped us! She was so kind! She was sweet. She didn’t judge us because we looked different than she does or because we wanted to try everything! She was so patient and kind! We left with the flavors we wanted because we got to have such a sweet loving, free, gentle and FUN experience with Maddie! She was amazing and so kindhearted. We were so grateful for her making that experience such a fun one. She has defined Salt & Straw for us. We will be back time and time again. And we will visit other locations all because of our introduction to Salt & Straw with Maddie :)“

“We’ve been going to Swirl for years. Love this family business and the great frozen yogurt. The owners are the sweetest people and have a very inviting shop. Wonderful place for kids to have birthday parties or just enjoy the ambience.“

Difficult parking was a small minus point.
Drinks not too sweet but ice cream is too sweet for me (I'm not a sweet-tooth)

“Always consistent, order the same drink for the past few years and she always remembers it, pretty fast for just her in there and the quality of her products are amazing!
Parking: She rents out her extra parking spaces for 10 each for the lake nearby when their parking lot gets full during summer. She’s and awesome person and i think that’s a great idea considering she normally does espresso/icecream“

“Perfect sweet treat after MoPOP. I stopped into Cannolo and had a cannoli, cheesecake, and an iced brown sugar espresso, and everything was fantastic. The cannoli was delicious, the cheesecake was creamy and satisfying, and the espresso was honestly awesome — sweet, smooth, and exactly what I wanted after walking around the museum.
The space was calm and comfortable, with a nice view of the city outside, which made it a great little reset before heading back out. Definitely recommend stopping here if you’re in the area and want a dessert/coffee break that actually hits.“

“What a cool place to get ice cream around Eastlake since there’s not too many options. They have ice cream from Sweet alchemy and bluebird. I was disappointed in the portion sizes as a single scoop. It was almost like a kid scoop elsewhere for the price of a single scoop at most places. Overall good spot.“

“I don’t get the bad reviews.... This place is amazing. From the ice cream to the food. Of course it’s a bit pricey. It’s a small privately owned business. It’s not a chain. The owners are incredibly nice people. I’ve been going here for more than 20 years and I can’t say enough good things. It’s not their fault parking is limited. It’s Madison Park... They have continued to offer the best ice cream, food, and service even during unprecedented times. I bring my kids here, and have been going since I was a kid. Not many places left where you can share childhood memories with your children.“

“I came in around 4pm on a Tuesday and it wasn't busy. I ordered an iced Americano, matcha almond cookie and mom's carrot cake. The customer service was friendly and fast. The coffee was strong and smooth and great with the sweet treats. The cake was EXCELLENT! I will be back again especially for the cake !“

“Excellent, fresh rolled ice cream made right in front of you using simple, high-quality ingredients. The owner was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Seattle is lucky to have this place! We’re visiting from Iowa, so unfortunately we won’t be back anytime soon, which is a shame because rolled ice cream is so hard to find. Absolutely delicious and well worth a visit!“

“DoorDasher stole part of my order, I called this location and let them know and not only did they replace my order but she also accommodated my additional in-store order with a discount . Manager was so sweet and let me know about rewards and now that I know this location is so close to home I will not be ordering on DoorDash anymore“
