The coffee shop has a lot of windows, so there is a lot of great light, making it an enjoyable place to drink your coffee. They have a meeting room that can seat about 6 people in the back. I have seen others host book club meetings there.“

“Baiten is a small Japanese dessert shop operating inside the Tamari Bar Restaurant. They mainly serve soft serve, but also have fruit sandwiches and small pastries. I ordered the yuzu soft serve and it was perfect! The soft serve was light and creamy and the yuzu drizzle was citrusy and tart adding a great contrast to the soft serve. To top off those magnificent flavors, they add a small macaroon for a textural change! I'd recommend Baiten to anyone looking for Japanese flavored desserts or pastries! Do note that there is not any eat in space so all orders will have to be to go!“

“This place is so so yummy!! We tried a bunch of different flavors before choosing what we wanted. The thing that stood out to me most were that none of the flavors were too sweet. I ended up with the nutty squirrel and chocolate and the husband went with the strawberry and chocolate. The consistency of the gelato was perfect and it was a perfect dessert to end our night!“

“Went on a whim looking to try a new ice cream location. Everything here is local and we decided to try the flight to compare the seasonal flavors. I liked the variety and the flavor range, as well as the dairy-free options. “Definitely try the food! We've tried the yakisoba and bulgogi beef and they were both very good. They are very creative with their spices which elevated both dishes and they were surprise hits. The cocktails are also great. I recommend the cold Giving tree. It's a really delightful cocktail. They also host a bunch of events (ex drag show bingo and water color painting classes) that are very fun. All in all, a great place to visit if you find yourself in Cap Hill!“

“Wonderful spot to grab a drink and play some games, been involved in their events, and their prize support and community seem to be a lot of fun. The wall of freeplay games are very welcoming to newcomers, and the rotating drink selection is top notch“

“Ok this is the best pizza I've had in Seattle!!! I loved the kiss'd, it tasted like typical meaty pizza flavors but way more elevated. The hot honey on top of the pizza pulled it all together. The crust was so crispy too!! I actually preferred it to Mr Pig. This pizza is heavy so come with an appetite. We shared both pizza's between a group of 4. The customer service here is also so nice. We originally arrived at 7pm on Saturday and saw a big sold out sign. While deciding our next food spot, the waitress kindly called out to us that they actually found a few extra pieces of dough and could serve us some pizza. We were so happy!! I would come earlier to make sure you get pizza tho!!“

“The baristas were very friendly! I got a lavender latte and a sour cream coffee cake. Both tasted great! The coffee cake was pretty big. My partner got a decaf mocha, which he liked a lot. It’s a really cute coffee shop and I loved that they have pictures of different dogs on the wall and offer dog treats too.“

“This gelato spot is located in the heart of downtown Ballard, amongst a lot of the restaurants. I sampled a few flavors here including the baseline Fior di Latte to gauge on the quality of the gelato, and the gelato overall is fairly solid. I am a fan of their very smooth, velvety texture of all the gelato flavors, including pistachio. For $6.50+tax, the small is a modest size for an individual to enjoy a serving of gelato. However, when comparing pictures of the past, I felt I got a bit shortchanged with the portion sizes as the pictures indicate the gelato filling way over the cup. Also, the pistachio was not as fragrant as I hoped, and it was a bit more green-ish color meaning they might have added a hint of food coloring rather than the natural off white / very faint green color. While the gelato texture warrants a 5 star review, these two things knocked off 2 half stars (1 star) for me.“

“Came to Seattle with my friends, heard cold plate is a cool place. The shop is not big but space-full, I like the vibe here it gives a warm atmosphere during the winter. The rolled ice cream tastes amazing, we came in on the Wednesday night, was not expecting to have so many people ordering a head of us since it’s winter. There was only one worker, it was a quite a wait to get the ice cream but she really did a good job on all of our orders and managed to get them out as fast as she can. We loved the food and service. Would definitely come again sometimes during summer.“

Use the customizer kiosk by the front door, you can order a minimum of 8oz per flavor and only one flavor per cup, but it's worth it, and they pop out on a shelf in between the yogurt machines in just 3-5 minutes!They also have many sugar free toppings for the yogurt. By far my favorite yogurt place I've ever been to! I suggest the apple pie no sugar added on the customizer and then adding graham cracker crumbs and their sugar-free caramel sauce.“

Additionally, some seasonal flavors Black Sesame ( very unique)and vegan coconut chunks, both of which I highly recommended. Pricing is determined by the choice of single or double scoops, while whipped cream and cherry toppings are available as add-ons, along with a selection of two toppings. “The london fog ice cream was SPOT ON. I've had earl grey ice cream from other places and this one tops them all. I got lavender shortbread on mine, and it was the perfect combination.The scooper was very calm and sweet!Also, this isn't a sit down place, it's in a nook within an alley surrounded by loud restaurants.“

“We wanted ice cream or something sweet after dinner and our car took us here on a Friday night. So glad we did. Bluebird has been on my radar for a while now and we just got around to trying some. It's tucked next to a Greek restaurant next door. They do small batches of listed flavors. I think I counted 10 flavors. Some typical flavors, some not so conventional. I'm sure this place gets pretty packed and busy in the warmer months. So late winter/early spring is the best time to come give them a try. They (IMO) are one of the local ice cream heavyweights around town. The only draw back is the parking, there is residential parking and not enough business parking. Maybe when the weather gets nicer you can park a little further away and work up an appetite for some yummy ice cream ? ?“

I would rather have a real person taking my order and talking to me making eye contact through the process. The computer was dirty. There was no wipes or any way to sanitize it before I put my fingers on it. I know it was busy and I’m not complaining but a little more attention should be given to the front of the house. People are gross, they need to clean up after they make a mess but they don’t if there is no way to do it. Thank you!“
