We had to book a dentist an hour drive from home, and Miyako's made the trip worth it every week we made the trip. I wish I had a toothache just so I'd have an excuse to go visit and order their wings with a plate of Teriyaki and eat some complimentary soup while I wait.“

“We always order tons of their toro nigiri, it’s super fresh and delicious. We first had toro in Japan and we were so amazed at the fatty fish, when we came back home to Stanwood we thought we would never get to eat toro as good as Japan but we tried Shima’s. The toro that Dan served us was 100% was better than sushi places in San Francisco, Seattle, and specifically Japan. The service was so amazing, and the staff was very friendly. We will be sure to bring all of our family and friends here to support a local family business!“
