A couple members of our family have celiac disease, so we're cautious and picky about dining out. This is a trusted place that never disappoints. We came here to celebrate two birthdays. This business is family owned and run. Once you experience the food, it will become one of your favorite places, too!“

This was my second visit and I got their new Brown Sugar Milk and added Boba into it (super good and aesthetically pleasing as well).

“I ordered two cakes for my 2-year-old the day before his birthday party. The cakes were light and fluffy, and had lots of fruit in the filling and on top. The cakes were also adorable and looked like cats. My son was obsessed! The frosting was light and fresh and not too sweet. It was the perfect thing for the hot summer says.

The store sent us off with serving knives and candles for the cakes, and a gorgeous serving platter. Everyone I interacted with was super kind.

I also had my first Korean donut. I went with the whipped cream filled one topped with fresh strawberries. I'm obsessed! I normally hate donuts. They make me feel gross because of how sugary and greasy they are. These were light and delicious. They are what I wish all donuts were like. I'll be back for more.“

“Hmm, where to start... They have the best pizzas with their signature crispy wood-fired pizzas, and we aren't kidding that they are our absolute favorite pizzas in all of Washington. Next on the list are their pizza rolls. We've had good pizza rolls, but never pizza rolls like Fondi's. Pro tip: If you really want your pizza rolls to be epic, you have to dip them in Fondi's homemade gorgonzola dressing. Trust us. We even know a three-year-old who isn't a fan of pizza (yeah, we think it's crazy too), but he will devour half a plate of Fondi's pizza rolls... Their salads are the freshest salads around; you'd think they were a strictly salad restaurant with how amazing these salads are. We've tried every single salad on the menu, and if we had to pick our favorite, maybe the Insulata di mele with its fennel-candied walnuts, but then we'd feel bad for forgetting their classic Caesar's forum, which is a Caesar salad even your kids will want to eat! We may have saved the best for last, because Fondi's flatbread, which we order crispy with the fresh mozzarella, white bean dip (kind of like hummus if we had to compare it to something more well known), and their pomodoro spread (a really fresh marinara-type dip). We almost forgot our favorite dessert! The Burnt Creme, aka Creme Brulee, is incredible; it's really the best way to finish your meal, but we sometimes order the Affogato as well, it's espresso over ice cream, and it's delicious!“

“I've always wanted to visit this place, but I always seem to pass it on 6th Ave. It looks like they used to have a large assortment of beers you could have selected, but either the fridge is broken or the business model didn't pan out.

They do have 50 beers on tap with a good selection of wine.

It was quiet but picked up around 4:30, and a few parties took place outside.

I did see kids and dogs enjoying the outside seating.

“I've placed an order for pickup 3 times in the last 2 weeks, each time for Broccoli Beef & an order of Gyoza. I'm giving the food 4 stars instead of 5 simply because each time the broccoli is raw. I don't mind a little crisp to the veggies, but the broccoli is simply raw. Other than that, the food is amazing. Kinda spendy but generous portions help make it worth it. 2 min from home, tastes great, always hot, but gotta knock the star for the raw broccoli each time. If they fix that minor issue and cook it just a couple min longer, I'll give it 5 stars when that happens.“
