“The menu options were great and we enjoyed our food. The greeter and our waitress were especially friendly and helpful. However, the young lady who showed us to our table looked out of place. Everyone other employee was dressed in attire you would see at Oktoberfest as you would expect in a German restaurant. She was in a very casual oversized sloppy looking sweatshirt or sweater. And although I use a walker, she led my husband quickly to our table, chatted with him while waiting for me to catch up. Then she walked away without even waiting for me to actually get to the table or speaking to me at all - VERY RUDE!! Our waitress, server, greeter and the food more than made up for the bad taste she left in my mouth, thank goodness.“

We got lattes, croissants, and I ordered the Pork Belly grits today with an egg. It was so yummy!! Bleu Door is a Vancouver staple located in Uptown Village. It’s a must visit when in town! It was a great choice for our Saturday brunch.“

“Di Tazza bakery, cafe and coffee drive thru is a great place to sit and enjoy a coffee with friends. They have pastries and yummy frittatas, biscuits and gravy and breakfast sandwiches. They have vegetarian choices and some nice gluten free pastries that are all made on the premises. It’s really cute and clean. The staff is friendly and quick to make you feel welcome. I live really close to it and I highly recommend it. It is in the previous chase bank on SE 84th and 137th. Easy access from Padden Parkway. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. 🥰“

It's really not a complicated model & yet Americans are mostly offered chain, fast food slop. It is expensive & that kinda sux, but the ingredients are real, fresh & nutritious, and someone else is preparing it for you, so honestly, it's worth every penny.“

“My son is a barista at this location. I came in for a coffee and a sandwich and was so proud to watch his interactions with Customers. Big smile and great attitude. I’ve managed Customer Service for a majority of my career, so watching my son provide excellent service was very fulfilling. All of the kids working at The Great North when I have come in have been wonderful. Management shouldn’t take this for granted. The coffee is good, but you can’t beat great customer service👍“

“I walked here from a nearby hotel to get take out. I placed my order when I got there and they were super fast. The portions were very generous (enough for 2 to 3 meals) the price was great and the food was delicious! I had one of the dinner combos with chicken lo mein, spring rolls, bbq pork. The staff were friendly. The restaurant was a nice size and had a cozy feel. It's located in a fun area with other shops.“

“I ordered a cake to pick-up while visiting. It took a few tries calling to be able to place the order, but once I got ahold of someone, the ordering and payment process was easy. The cake looked better than my expectations (their website does not do the cakes justice). They had a case full of beautiful cakes and desserts. The staff were polite and efficient.“
