“In all fairness, the owner is a relative of mine. Still this was our first visit to her wine bar and our first impression was of a very comfortable relaxed atmosphere with quality food and service. Given that she's owned the business going on thirteen years, I would say that Niche definitely deserves a visit if you have never been. It would be a great place to take out of town guests.Because of our unique circumstances, there are many details I find it difficult to speak towards. “Quaint setting. Very historical. Food was delicious. We went on a Saturday night as a groip of 7. There was live music in the lounge. Jazz guitar. Food is delicious. I got the special which was a wonderful scallops dish. The chardonnay they recommended to pair with it was amazing. We love coming here. I am looking forward to sitting on the lounge side for food and drinks.“

“Amazing meal with my wife and daughter. Perfect food, the filet and ribeye steak skewers (yakitori) were amazing. We only got one order of shrimp yakitori but it was cooked perfectly and the chimichurri added an extra flavor. The service was perfect with regular but not intrusive attention. We ordered too much food with the salad, asparagus, risotto, frog legs and at the end when we were stuffed from the family style feast they brought the final dish we had ordered, a pork belly over mushroom ravioli. I only took a few bites, wishing I could have more room in my stomach. What a feast, I will definitely be back.“

“We have loved everything about La Sorrentina since it was a food truck, and we’re so happy that they moved into a brick and mortar place. Since then, we’ve been there weekly if not more, and every dish is better than the last. Special entrees, pizzas, and deserts are always so creative and delicious that it makes it particularly hard to decide because the standard menu is filled with favorites too. Daisuke is a master chef, and every single person on his staff is warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Truly one of Vancouver’s gems.“

“I will definitely return to Ginger Pop! The meat in the entrees was perfect in cut, time cooked, and texture. I'm really picky. I loved the Cashew Chicken w/ rice the most and will order it with extra pineapple next time. The Pad Ki Mow Beef was spicy and delicious. I wasn't really a fan of the Chicken Satay appetizer.
