“Solid Neapolitan Pizza, tried the Margherita (as anyone should for their first try at a pizza joint). Crust was light and fluffy with a light charr, flavor was solid, & no flop/solid undercarriage on each slice. Sauce & cheese were tasty and the whole pizza tasted very fresh!

Also tried their Moscow mule, with house made ginger beer: delicious!

“The menu here is just awesome. I think I’ve tried everything and everything is very good, clearly made with care by people who actually eat the food they make. they like big flavors here. The chicken teriyaki is barbecued just the side of blackened with a powerfully flavorful sauce. The sauce has the familiar comforting teriyaki combo of salty sweet and tangy but leans less on the sugar and more on the ginger and slightly more complex flavors. But it’s still definitely teriyaki. The tofu teriyaki is awesome, a crispy fried medium firm slab on top of perfectly cooked rice. Get the deluxe! Mac salad? Yum. Crispy eggroll for texture. Satisfying.

Don’t skip the deluxe fries with kewpie mayo, furikake, and chili crisp my dude.

So teriyaki is associated with being cheap, and this is not really that kind of teriyaki. However, I will say that relative to other dining options on the island, the vibe is great and social, the food is excellent, and to be honest you’re not going to eat out for cheaper on the island pretty much anywhere unless you go to the Thriftway deli (not knocking the Thriftway deli, I love me some chicken strips).

Oh yeah and it’s also a craft beer and craft soda and wine store, I think that’s probably the main point of the place? But obviously you can get amazing selections of beer and wine.

And then right next door is the delightful Vashon Creamery for dessert!“

“I have lived in Seattle for decades and never have i had a better experience than i did tonight at full throttle. the beers were amazing and the diversity of the selections available was truly impressive. that coupled with the amazing service given by the bartender, Lauren, made the whole visit even better. Lauren was an absolute pleasure to interact with and made me feel like I was a friend that she had known for ages! she’s got my vote for employee of the month! “This is the loveliest little place that despite its delicious menu and incredible cocktails still feels kind of unknown. Even friends that have lived in WSea for years haven’t heard of its existence. Even though I’d like to keep it that way, I’d much rather have it succeed and never go away.

“The manager here is completely rude to his customers and his staff. Refuses to refund or replace and item made incorrectly. Just terrible customer service. Think twice before giving your money to such a terrible person. Read many other reviews that talk about how the staff here is treated. The food is mediocre at best, but even of it was better, service matters. I'd encourage the owners to think about how they treat people and how they would like to be treated as a customer when the business was at fault. Disgusting. There were mushrooms sent to a kid with an allergy when it was clearly noted on the order to leave them off, there was a hair in the pizza. I would encourage the owner to take a class in customer service and learn to do what is right instead of being rude and snarky.“

“Great atmosphere. Great staff. Great brews. Nice covered heated patio where you can enjoy a tasty brew with your dogs:) Good snacks but no food (only “downfall” really). “Beer was very good, the view, including Mt. Ranier and area and atmosphere were great. Service from one of the two bartenders was so, so. The food from the food truck was just average, at best. We had a Galley Burger, Pesto Poultry, two Reubens, and fries. They were all just average and fries even more than less than average. No desire to go back for the food. Up your food with more flavor, more ingredients, fresh cut fries, and charge another $1 or $2 per item. Again, beer was very good, views incredible, service was sub-par, and food was nothing to talk about. Would I go again? Yes! For the beer and views, but this should not put management at ease because the service and food need to be improved.“
