“This is probably one of the best teriyakis I’ve ever had. It wasn’t super saucy but I didn’t mind that cause it had so much other stuff going on. The blackened crunch on top - manifique!!! So much flavor. And the sides were equally delicious.“

-Lots of seating, including a light-filled front room, a nice and shady backroom, and a patio.
-Nice bathroom
-Good tasting coffee (had drip and a cortado)
-$.92 refills on 12-16 ounce drip coffee.

Less Positive:
-Lots of flies, including inside the pastry case.
-Awkward layout in the front room leads to constant traffic jams in the narrow spaces on either side of the coffee bar. The precariousness of these narrow spaces is exacerbated by walls of glass (wine bottles on one side, glassware on the other).
-Only one bathroom can cause long waits.“

“Everything I’ve had here is so good! Feature items are always thoughtful and delicious. A regular menu go to is the twice baked potato, which is always so good. This weekend she featured a crab roll, which is one of the best I’ve ever had service is friendly and personal, and the environment is very cozy and welcoming.“

“My husband and I have had the pleasure of frequenting this business a few times! We were invited to attend a few live performances by two friends of ours. We LOVE wine. This business specializes in artisinal and small-batch wines from the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. DELICIOUS! Their appetizer menu is EXCEPTIONAL! Their service is IMPECCABLE!

With that being said, he was excited about the food, friendly, and delightful to deal with. Once the food came, I was blown away by the flavor. Fried brussel sprouts were so good my coworkers and I were laughingly fighting over who got to finish them. Everyone loved their meals. I had the Lamb Ragu (no cheese and it didn't suffer for the lack of it) and it was so good I'm afraid I'm going to be chasing to find a red sauce that good again. Can't say much about the drinks since I only had a perfectly traditional hot toddy but I would definitely try more. Absolutely recommend this and apparently it's side by restaurant 909. I might recommend calling ahead for a reservation there. Even on a Tuesday night this place had a well deserved full house.“

The menu rotates so you have to go often. We had the goat cheese appetizer. Perfection. The cheesecake with lemon for dessert. This is a great place to check out. We will be going back more often. “Ocean5 is one of the most accessible places in Gig Harbor for seniors using walkers or wheelchairs. The disabled parking is plentiful, the front entrance has automatic sliding doors, and there is a gentle ramp directly into the coffee shop area. My father has significant mobility limitations, and this is one of the few places where getting from the car to a table feels manageable and low-stress. Then, add great coffee, good food, and excellent service.“

“Greeter was rude. Like it was a trouble for him to get up from folding napkins to seat me at a table instead of going to the bar like he suggested. Actual server was nice. Food was good but overpriced($32 for a chicken burger and fries, no drink) and the 20% automatic tipping is a huge turnoff. This tipping culture is too much, tipping should be optional. Atmosphere of cars is cool.“
