I think I’m most enjoyed the mall back vintage 2020 I believe. The girl that helped us was very friendly and observant to our semi large group and make sure everybody’s glasses stay full, even though we all kind of walked in at different times. Super excited to hear that they’re expanding or moving into Woodinville as that is our normal stopping grounds, but I do look forward to trying out their varietals again in the near future. “Princess and Bear has quickly become one of my favorite places in Seattle. The owners are amazing, the events (like trivia) are a ton of fun, and the wine is UNDENIABLY the best you can get outside France. I signed up for their wine club after one glass. It’s hard to believe such a classy and gorgeous tasting room exists in this business park, but I promise you, it’s a hidden gem. And, it’s kid friendly!!“

It's a very small place with a counter seating inside, but that is a way more fun way to experience this special place than sitting outside on the patio. On Mondays, Seattle legend chef Jason Stratton, helps out and adds a few of his famous dishes to the menu so that is the night to go for the full meal deal. Wine from unique producers make excellent pairings along with the perfect cocktails. Even a cheese course. A perfect local restaurant.“

“Delicious! Little drafty and close quarters. Loud party in the in closed porch and the bartender was uber busy. With that being said, he was excited about the food, friendly, and delightful to deal with. Once the food came, I was blown away by the flavor. Fried brussel sprouts were so good my coworkers and I were laughingly fighting over who got to finish them. Everyone loved their meals. I had the Lamb Ragu (no cheese and it didn't suffer for the lack of it) and it was so good I'm afraid I'm going to be chasing to find a red sauce that good again. Can't say much about the drinks since I only had a perfectly traditional hot toddy but I would definitely try more. Absolutely recommend this and apparently it's side by restaurant 909. I might recommend calling ahead for a reservation there. Even on a Tuesday night this place had a well deserved full house.“

They have a great selection of natural wines from all over and reasonably priced. They also have a great selection of local ciders. The staff person working there was very friendly and helpful -- happy to provide suggestions and share knowledge. The food was also quite good. Highly recommend the gluten-free brownie!“

“Visiting friends in Seattle, we were suggested in visiting Vashoon island and it's cool spots and this is definitely one of them.

After exploring the island a bit, we wanted to grab something to eat and stop at this cool shop. You will encounter essentially two eateries in one commercial spot but it's great that they each work together to make entertaining each other's store simply by walking through a walkway between them.

As far as food options it won't be extensive but it does have some great, unique options. I tried their chicken with teriyaki sauce plate and boy was it good. They also have great local alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available, some bottled, canned or even on tap. Seating can be tricky especially during peak hours or seasons so plan accordingly and just be patient. If you're waiting, just take a step outside and walk into some of the great independent shops next door or across the street. Parking may also be a challenge so read signs carefully to avoid getting a ticket or towed.

Overall, a great spot to grab a drink and a quick bite to eat mid day to break up your adventures on Vashoon.“

“I am a bagel loving lady. Born in Jackson Heights Queens NY City; bagels are in my blood. The bagels here are NYC best quality. They have the shiny outside, the correct twist, the complex flavor. All perfect. I went back to NYC and ate a bagel from Zabar’s in Grand Central Station; total disappointment. Came running home to Vashon to have a proper bagel at Little Cup. Oh yes, the atmosphere is awesome and the people are even better.“
