“Great wine, location and staff x”

“This is one of the best wineries I have been to in a very long time (and I have been to a lot)! The facility has a quaint rustic feel to it, and the inside tasting room is small and intimate. The staff is off-the-charts helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and just a pleasure to talk to (Lori in particular!). We normally don't spend more than an hour at wineries when we have a full day of tasting scheduled, but we ended up enjoying ourselves so much that we lingered for 2+ hours.

The wines themselves are very full-bodied and delicious. I really appreciate a wine-maker that can do a very good Petit Sirah, and Cascade Cliffs more than delivered in that area! Every wine we tasted had a really good finish, a clean nose, and really represented their respective varietals well.

We eventually got to even chat with the wine-maker himself, and he was an absolute pleasure to talk to. I loved hearing about how he worked each of the wines. What really makes a winery stand out to me is when I can ask a million qiestions and get to know all the intricacies. I always appreciate it when people have the knowledge and patience to answer my questions!
