“I had waited way too long long to stop in to Roxie’s as I passed through Almena - shame on me. The owners are some of the most fun people I have ever been around, the drinks are cheap, and it’s about the most comfortable environment to relax in. I waited too long to stop in, I won’t wait so long to come back.“

“Came here for a take out pizza order. The pizza is okay, works in a pinch. It’s a cash only establishment, which I did not know so ended up using the ATM and paying all the fees. The place itself seemed small, but nice and laid back. Bartender who took my order was nice. We have a cabin nearby, will probably order here again for convenience. But knowing the cash only part would have been nice beforehand.“

“This is the first time rating a bar, as I rarely got to bars. For 15 years of my life I was a bouncer, so I rarely ever had a night off to grab a drink. The staff was friendly, as were the patrons who all seemed to know each other. I suppose if I were to live in this area, I would probably stop more regularly for a beer.“
