“We and some friends just popped into Roxie's by chance as we were ATVing on the Cattail Trail from Amery to Almena. This was intended as a restroom stop but wound up staying for hours! Roxie and Kevin are super hosts! Friendly, funny, and very welcoming!Even talked Kevin into firing up the piano bar for our group of 5 at 11:30 in the morning!Never had any food cause the drinks and socializing were just too good!Learned all about the festivities they sponsor. Will be back for certain to join in the fun!Hat's off to Roxie's!! You are a hidden gem in "uptown Almena"!“

“Our experience was exactly as anticipated! Staff was attentive and friendly, fish fry was very good and came with potato,roll and coleslaw, plentiful portions. The dining areas were full! They really did a nice job all around. It's a Win!“

“Went here yesterday on a little day trip around Wisconsin from MN and happened to come across this place. Doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is so nice and updated! Clean and good vibes with 90s country playing. Ton of different drink selections which was kind of surprising for such a small town bar. Bartender was quick, friendly, & attentive and food was really great and came out fast! We got the sampler platter, chicken wrap, & wings and my husband said the wings were better than Buffalo Wild Wings. Think we will be making a special trip to WI just for this place in the future.“

“We went there for indoor ice fishing. The owners were extremely nice and engaging. The bar is truly a dive bar in Wisco, and the indoor ice fishing was a blast. The bar shows obvious signs of age, but the atmosphere and ownership definitely made up for it. We will definitely be back!! If you are in Cumberland, stop in and support this bar!!“

“I give Charlie's five stars based on the night time bartenders. Angie works Sunday to Wednesday and John Thursday to Saturday. The drinks are strong and the prices are reasonable. It's not the decor you come for... It's the value. Motorcycle friendly and often a real riot.“
