“We wanted to go to a bar for a burger and a beer, so I googled bar, burger and beer. The Bar was one of the first suggestions, so that’s where we went. We really liked everything about the place, the atmosphere, beer selections and the food. The portions were huge. The only reason I’m not giving The Bar 5 stars is because the menu didn’t include any prices. It doesn’t matter what I’m buying, I want to know how much it’s going to cost me.“
“LOVED Mary's Midway Bar! We stopped here while traveling through the area and super glad we did! Mary was the BEST! Drinks were delicious, everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. “Took a little drive (30 mins) to see if the hype was real about the fish fry! It was well worth the drive! Nothing fancy; small town bar that was either gonna be a lesson learned or gold mine! Well, it was a gold mine! The fish was incredible! Four nice-sized pieces, deep fried in a perfect batter. Batter was light and crisp while the fish was fresh and flaky! Strongly recommend giving this little off the grid place a try!“
“Excellent Bloody Mary's! Vodka is infused with jalapeno, horseradish and garlic. Yummy. Cheese and sausage slice, pickle, olives etc...and a hard boiled egg on the side. The bartender was great too. She was new, but did an excellent job.“
“My 5 girlfriends and I just had girls weekend in Rice Lake. We had a BLAST here!! You guys all were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we had fun. The 2 ladies tending bar were great and the karaoke/DJ was so much fun too!!“
“Imagine 2 totally different bar "atmospheres in 1 building!! Just a short hallway apart. One with karaoke and your typical Wisconsin bar crowd. Than walk past the restrooms into a "upscale dance club!!! Who would have every guessed that in historic downtown Rice Lake.Great service. Very friendly customers, engaging and all seemed to want to make sure a couple new people were enjoying themselves. And on a Saturday night. ?We will definitely be back for dome of the week night specials on each "bar"The picture is the fish tank above the hallway separating the bars.“
“Fabulous place to go for a variety of craft beers and great food. They have a great choice of beers and wines. They have a limited menu but what they have is wonderful. Love the atmosphere and frequently go there to meet friends and enjoy their relaxing atmosphere.“
