“My wife and I had never eaten at this place. We were in town for taxes. Afterwords, we were hungry so we decided to try Sportsmens Bar & Grill. We were impressed with the food! We will have to try their Friday fish fry. All told, I would recommend it to friends.“

“Wow! What a perfect venue to celebrate our 40th class Reunion. From the planning stages to the actual celebration, Bridgette was extremely helpful and open to any ideas that we had to make our night special! When we arrived to decorate, Bridgette and her staff were AMAZING! They were very helpful and assisted us as we arranged the room to our liking. The salad bar and buffet were delicious, and the late night pizza was very yummy! Bridgette, the waitresses and bartenders were all so polite and went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed! I heard many positive comments from my classmates about Bird's Place and the wonderful service that they received! I would highly recommend Bird's Place for any special occasion that you may have. It was such an enjoyable night!“

“The bar had good service and prices we decided to rent a room upstairs for the evening, the room was cozy and clean but the shared bathrooms did not have any plastic glasses to rinse your mouth with after brushing your teeth and the garbage was overflowing“

Favorites are the Reuben sandwich and the prime rib (sandwich or entree). Spotted Cow on tap served in frosty mugs.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and a family dining area separate from the bar.“

“Dallas is a pretty small town, so this one of few choices for lunch when in the area. We were pleasantly surprised at this place! Large seating areas in addition to the bar. We both ordered burgers, and they were excellent. This is not a bad little place in a remote area with few choices!“
